there should be an episode of mob psycho where an orchestra somewhere is panicking because their conductor has been killed by an evil spirit and reigan shows up thinking he and mob would exorcise the spirit but mob doesnt show up for his own reasons so reigan calls him while standing in front of the orchestra. Mob doesn’t answer so reigan goes on to leave him a very long voicemail explaining the situation but while hes doing so, all his hand movements make the orchestra think hes the replacement conductor. And so they start playing to his hand movements which results in a shockingly stunning and unique performance from this orchestra. People talk about it forever. It goes down in history as a moment that changed music forever etc etc

I LOOOOOOVE WASPS and bees but we all love bees, wasps are soooo under-appreciated! Do you know how much pest management they can do for us!!! I see them in my garden all the time hunting things that eat my flowers and it’s so cool to see them doing their work!

Used to be TERRIFIED of them, but I learned how to respect them. Being less scared of them makes you less likely to accidentally aggravate them, too. Haven’t been stung by one before! Actually used to have a small wasp nest 3 feet from my door and they were very polite about it. Yellow jackets, mind you!!!! And they did not care about bothering me!

I leave them water and I take it slow and I let them do whatever they need to while I carry on with whatever I need. I knew a paper wasp that I fed some sugar water and I’m pretty sure it came back in the fall just to rest during the colder times <:)

So many species!#The colonies and the solitary kinds! The little diggers and hunters!#The large and the tiny and they all fill such amazing roles in nature #They deserve respect and patience as much as anything else!

Before I work on art today, I’m chipping away at some other tasks I want to get done. I’m sorting through some plushies to donate or give away, and a few I’m setting aside I’ll gift to friends. I’m going to give them a good wash first, and some new stuffing!
