Listen, this is serious.

Do not use the website called Sci-Hub!

It lets people access scientific articles for free. This is dangerous. It helps the free flow of knowledge and reduces the competitive edge of all the people who worked really hard to have been born into a wealth.

Like, it’s literally a website where you can type in the DOI of an article and read it, without ever having to pay the publisher who exploited the author.

So, again, do not, under any circumstance, use Sci-Hub. I mean, can you imagine a world where knowledge is free and easily accessible to everyone? Even, y'know, poor people?

Libgen also has many books online, including textbooks, searchable by name, author, and ISBN. Can you imagine textbook companies not getting their hard-earned income from poor college students? Here is the link just so you make sure that you never accidentally stumble across this horrible, unethical website.

Oh, and while we’re talking about books, if you’ve managed to stay clear from Libgen, definitely don’t go to zlibrary, where you can also find a lot of textbooks, but unfortunately they’re completely free.

So it was a white woman who killed Botham Jean, and a white woman who killed Dante Wright, and it’s been white women at the center of almost every video of someone unjustly calling the police on black people, and it’s white women who have been directly or indirectly responsible for many horrific massacres of black peoples across the US like the one in Wilmington and the famous Tulsa massacre, and it’s white women who have a deep history of weaponizing their white womanhood by falsely accusing black men of rape even so much as to accuse black children like emmet till which resulted in the entire civil rights movement, and white women who constructed the idea of preserving the confederacy, and it’s white women who have gained freedom by steeping on the backs of black women, and white women who have fought to preserve the racist ideals of the 50s Nuclear family, and the list goes on and on and on and on.

So are we ready to talk about how white women are not incidental participants in white supremacy but rather the architectures and safe-guards of it?

If any of y’all are confused we suggest looking up the Daughters of the Confederacy, they formed in 1894 and have done a variety of tasks in support of white supremacy including but not limited to;

Funding the KKK

Erecting statues of Confederate generals, especially in black populated cities

Literally altering children’s textbooks in the South to paint slavery in positive light

Removed historically accurate information from local libraries

Started a Children’s group called Children of the Confederacy (if that isn’t chilling may we remind you that Nazi Germany did the same thing called the Hitler Youth)

Protested to protect white supremacy during the Civil Rights movement among others

They currently count themselves at 19,000 members, they aren’t dead, the group hasn’t changed, anyone can be racist, anyone can be a supremacist, just because that lady looks demure doesn’t mean she isn’t going to try and get you killed for being anything she doesn’t approve of, especially so for historically marginalized communities. Don’t let poisonous snakes hide in your garden. Tread on them
