The snow child

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was an amazing journey. It is plot-wise actually quite boring, but the writing style makes it so beautiful. The ambience that is created in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Alaska is compelling. It’s not only that, but it also feels so magical. The characters and their emotions are written so amazingly good. I was still spellbound hours after finishing the book.

Underappreciated PJO moment: when Percy, Grover, and Thalia know all kinds of random trivia about the Hoover Dam and they recite it because they miss Annabeth and because they all listen to her, actively listen enough to absorb all the information, revealing they don’t tune Annabeth out when she rambles about her special interests and it’s really sweet and a little bit sad because they know she’d be telling them even more if she were there but she isn’t so they do it for her.

Quidditch through the ages

This book was interesting, but sadly I’m not that interested in Quidditch, which made it a kind of boring read.

I prefer the first book, but I still loved this adventure a lot. It’s just that I prefer Grover over Tyson (I love Tyson a lot more after book three and four btw). However, I’m super curious about Thalia and what’s gonna happen!!

I love that in both The Sea of Monsters and The Titan’s Curse Percy wasn’t actually invited on the quests he just. decided to follow them. like, fuck u guys I’m coming anyway. Iconic.
