Who, as I said, HAD BEEN MISSING.
While it's heavily implied that Sherry sees Leon as a father, it's literally confirmed in canon that she sees Claire as her mother. She grew up with Claire. She wanted to be like Claire. That's canon. The mother/daughter bond between Claire and Sherry is canon.
