Sneak peek of the third book in the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard series by Rick Riordan.
We’re less than a month away from the release of The Ship of the Dead, the third book in Rick’s Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard series, and the Norse gods (and, y’know, Barnes & Noble) have gifted us with a sneak peek!
Follow the link above to read it, but BE WARNED: This is an excerpt taken directly from the book, so if you want to remain completely in the dark about anything that happens in The Ship of the Dead, you probably also want to stay away from that link.
What did you think of this sneak peek? What do you want to see happen in The Ship of the Dead? Have you pre-ordered your copy yet? Tell us in a comment (here).
I just finished reading the second book of the series, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Hammer of Thor. My studies didn’t let me read it until my vacation. Poor dear book of the adventures of Magnus Chase was in a safe place (a treasure box safely kept) feeling lonely until now. Aaaaand I hadn’t noticed of the upcoming publication of the next book. So I started it and finished the book just in time to read the awesome next adventure of of heroe demigod Magnus.
EVERYONE!!!! Pre order the book or buy it in your nearest bookstore. I know is going to be a wonderful experience to hear the voice, of one of our many demigods heroes in the world created by Rick Riordan, through the worlds written for us to know deeply this amazing character and protagonist or heroe.
One of tasks in my to-do-list is to read the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle series of Sherlock Holmes. Maybe that way I can understand the characters more than just seeing the tv series Sherlock or Elementary
Reading for my Medieval Class the fantastic book of Geofrey Chaucer, The Cabterbury Tales!!! In Spanish!!
The Marauders
I wish there was a eries of books of the Marauders by JK Rowling!!! 😭
this is the last day to say "thanks obama" before trump puts a taboo curse on the phrase and sends you to azkaban
New Semester
Well, here it is. The new semester of university has officially started for me and I'm thinking and hoping that maybe is not going to be as frustrating and stressful as the semester before Christmas 🎄, but that is as far as my mind goes because I already have work to do and books to read for my classes. That faith in me is still there that I'm going to learn, and I like the classes. But when I think of the future bunch of works I will have to do, I fill like my professors hate their students. (I know they don't, is just me exaggerating) Thank God I love the theme of my classes.
It’s taboo to admit that you’re lonely. You can make jokes about it, of course. You can tell people that you spend most of your time with Netflix or that you haven’t left the house today and you might not even go outside tomorrow. Ha ha, funny. But rarely do you ever tell people about the true depths of your loneliness, about how you feel more and more alienated from your friends each passing day and you’re not sure how to fix it. It seems like everyone is just better at living than you are. …A part of you knew this was going to happen. Growing up, you just had this feeling that you wouldn’t transition well to adult life, that you’d fall right through the cracks. And look at you now. La di da, it’s happening. Every day you vow to change some aspect of your life and every day you fail. At this point, you’re starting to question your own power as a human being. As of right now, your fears have you beat. They’re the ones that are holding your twenties hostage. Stop thinking that everyone is having more sex than you, that everyone has more friends than you, that everyone out is having more fun than you. Not because it’s not true (it might be!) but because that kind of thinking leaves you frozen. You’ve already spent enough time feeling like you’re stuck, like you’re watching your life fall through you like a fast dissolve and you’re unable to hold on to anything. I don’t know if you ever get better. I don’t know if a person can just wake up one day and decide to be an active participant in their life. I’d like to think so. I’d like to think that people get better each and every day but that’s not really true. People get worse and it’s their stories that end up getting forgotten because we can’t stand an unhappy ending. The sick have to get better. Our normalcy depends upon it. You have to value yourself. You have to want great things for your life. This sort of shit doesn’t happen overnight but it can and will happen if you want it. Do you want it bad enough? Does the fear of bein

We need to truly live, not just dream of living while seeing others doing it.
I hate small talk. I want to talk about atoms, death, aliens, sex, magic, intellect, the meaning of life, faraway galaxies, music that makes you feel different, memories, the lies you’ve told, your flaws, your favourite scents, your childhood, what keeps you up at night, your insecurities and fears. I like people with depth, who speak with emotion from a twisted mind.

Dentro de poco uno de nuestros sueños se va a hacer realidad. In a little time one of our dreams is going to come true. We will see the new movie #FantasticsBeasts.
What is happening in my life
Have you ever thought about it? We sometimes find ourselves asking this same question and the answer is simple. In our lives is happening lots and lots of happy and sad situations. And those situations are what's gonna make our future worth of living. We need every little thing that happens in our daily life. If nothing that has happened to you haven't happened, then what were you going to be today?
Even if the book is required for the class, I still feel awesome reading it. If you want a little bit of history mixed up with a little of magic and above all the legend of King Arthur, this is a great book to read.
Modern technology is making us anti-social!
It’s almost like people would rather not talk to every random stranger they see in public.
And they say is only on this century 😒
