The Perfect Marriage | 3 stars

spoilers!!

The mystery and suspense around who killed the mistress is definitely there in this book & most likely the only reason I’m giving this book 3 stars

there were a few things that really frustrated me throughout the book

1 - the FACT that not once the wife was interviewed as a possible suspect. So so incredibly frustrating. All just because she’s a lawyer and couldn’t possibly do it because she was out drinking with friends, who btw don’t even remember the whole night

2 - shady cop work, don’t even get me started. I suspected that one of the cops wasn’t really doing crap and yeahh.. crazy to me that no one really noticed that and just kinda let it be

3 - an innocent man died really really gets to me because this crap happens all the time

4 - there were so many things that the author didn’t circle back to that was so freaking annoying, like why even write this into the book if your not gonna mention it ever again

could literally go on and on about this book - would maybe recommend this book to a friend just so they can understand my frustration lol
