Reading Update & What this Weekend 📚✨ 📖 Currently Reading: This week I started In My Dreams I Hold a Knife which I'm super excited for. I've been in a bit of a slump so I haven't picked it up much this week, but I hope to get a good chunk of it done this weekend! 🎧 Currently Listening: I started The Lost Apothecary audiobook yesterday and am already hooked! I don't know why I pushed this one off so much because I am loving it so far. 🎥 Currently Watching: I started season 3 of You this week with @whatisalexreading and plan on finishing it up this weekend. It is sooo good so far and might be my favourite season yet! A new season of Dynasty came out today as well, so I will most definitely be binging that ASAP! Anyone else a Fallon Carrington fan?! ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS REVIEW📖✨ Rock, Paper, Scissors by @alicewriterland Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 📝Mini Description: I 100% recommend going into this book as blind as possible, but here is a mini spoiler free description! Things have been wrong with Mr and Mrs Wright for a long time. When Adam and Amelia win a weekend away to Scotland, it might be just what their marriage needs. Will all of their problems be solved or has 10 years of secrets come back to haunt them? 👍: 🌟 Absolutely stellar thriller 👀 Held my interest the entire time 🎥 Would be an amazing movie adaptation 👫 Multiple character POVs 🌪 Insane twists & turns 🔙 Written with flashbacks & present day 🎧 Amazing on audio ❄️ Realistic atmosphere & world building 🤯 Every theory I had was wrong ✍️ So many little details in each chapter 👻 The perfect amount of spooky 🪑 Kept me on the edge of my seat 👎: 🧵 A few minor loose ends but nothing that altered the book for me 💭Recommend? Yes yes yes!!! This is definitely one of my favourite thrillers of the year so far. It was absolutely stellar and I am so impressed with how different it felt from other thrillers! BOOK REVIEW 📖✨ Verity by @colleenhoover Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📝 Mini Description: Lowen is a struggling writer who gets the job offer of a lifetime. She has been asked to complete the remaining books in a successful authors series who has been injured and can no longer finish. But, is the job really as good as it seems? 👍: 💨 Super fast paced 🧟‍♀️ Extreme level of creepiness 😬 So much anticipation 🌪 Endless twisty-ness ✍️ Very well written 😳 Left speechless 🚘 Plot driven 🔪 Very well rounded thriller 🤯 Ending = WTF 📄 Team Manuscript (if you know, you know!) 👎: ⚠️ Not an easy read, lots of distributing & dark content 🥴 Left feeling a bit unsettled 👫 Would have liked more character development 💭 Recommend? If you're looking for a good dark thriller, yes! (Be sure to check the trigger warnings beforehand!) But if you're looking for a light easy read, no! This book definetly left me speechless, but at the same time a bit unsettled. It was my first @colleenhoover book, but now I can't wait to read more! Coffee & currently listening 🎧☕️ What's a book that you loved on audio? ✨ I asked you all on my story the other day what some good audio books are and Rock, Paper, Scissors was one of the highly recommended ones and WOW I know why!!!
