Hi! I recently discovered Bookwyrms and I'm loving it so far. I was wondering how you pronounce "Bookwyrms", though. Is it "Bookworms", just stylised differently? Also, it would be awesome if you could create a little info page that takes the reader on a tour of Everstrom and its different provinces and tells us more about its history. It would be great to learn more about the world! Keep up the great work :)

Hi there! I’m really sorry if this reply comes late, as tumblr is not notifying me of any messages or comments and I just found yours by chance today! :S I’m replying publicly because I thought more people could be wondering about those same things, I hope you don’t mind!

Thank you so much for your message! <3 I’m glad you’re enjoying Bookwyrms! The pronounciation for it would be very similar to “bookworms”, only the “y” would be pronounced like the “i” in wind, or like the German “ü”, which is a sound bewtween an “i” and a “u” ^^

Regarding the info page about the different nations in Sweven, it’s something I’m thinking about, actually! I wasn’t sure it was “needed” so far to follow the story, so I refrained from making any info pages, but I feel they could make a nice extra content for the printed edition, or to separate volumes in the webcomic in the future... I definitely have a lot of content about their different cultures I’d like to share, so it’s encouraging to hear you ask about this :) Thank you very much!!

I really liked your cast! I had pictured Chandler Riggs as Rogier and Kiernan Shipka as Suzzen.

Hey! If Bookwyrms were a movie... who would be your perfect cast?

OH MY. This is such a hard question, haha! I don’t think I have a *perfect* cast, but I will admit I do have some ideas: (Sorry for the long post ahead!)

Rogier - I must say Ezra Miller makes a pretty perfect Rogier sometimes, I mean look at him.

Suzzen - Not so perfect a match, but some pictures of Elle Fanning do remind me of her a lot.

Arabelia - I do have someone I based her on when I started her design -particularly her hair- so she’s an easy one. (Bella Heathcoate)

Dylion - We start with the pretty hard ones… The most similar actor I ever found was Ben Barnes, although he’s quite younger than Dylion.

Kveld - She’s REALLY hard for me to picture as a real person, but I do like Emilie de Ravin’s face for her. 

Hedy - I haven’t actually found anyone who looks like her, but Zoe Saldana’s expression here gets close.

Again, sorry for the long reply, haha! I’d love to hear if anyone else has ideas for a Bookwyrms cast! :D

¡Hola, Lorena! Iba a mandarte esta pregunta en ingles, pero no soy muy buena con el. En realidad son dos preguntas: a) ¿Shippeas a Suzzen con Rogier? Porque yo si... un poco. Y b) ¿donde vivías antes de mudarte a Inglaterra? Besos desde Argentina.

Hola :D Pues primero la respuesta fácil: Vivía en España, donde nací y crecí ^^ Y respecto a Suzzen y Rogier... es complicado, jaja! Sobre todo cuando sabes cómo van a acabar. Creo que la respuesta más justa que puedo dar es “a veces sí, a veces no” :P
