One thing I absolutely love about the 30 y/o boomer meme is his smile. It’s a content smile, but at the same time hides the pain of past memories, friends that have come and gone. A tired smile.

it’s because after having so many crisis, so many ends of the world, so much strife, you become numb to it. But it’s a good numb. You know no matter how bad it gets, it’s not going to stay like that forever, just like the last times it got better.
