Boom!

So it turns out I will be swearing in tomorrow, after meps and whatnot. I got 11b as my mos, station is in Fort Benning, Georgia. I leave for OSUT 2015 07 13, then airborne right afterwards. My recruiter is going to pick me up at 0400 tomorrow, I can't sleep.

No more tattoo

So what was restricting me from enlisting, other than getting college credits to be eligible for Ranger school, was my tattoo on my wrist. Apparently it was past range, despite my recruiters saying I was all good. Long story short their commander didn't agree with them. Good news is after one super painful treatment it's gone, just needs to heal. It was supposed to be 4 treatments over 4 weeks, but because I wanted it over with quickly, I had them do it three times as rough as it was supposed to be. It didn't get infected so that's a plus, now I should be golden to enlist and then finish two semesters and leave for BCT
