KING GIZZARD’S GIZZYTOWN!

I’ve had sketches for this bootleg project laying around since late 2022 and I finally dedicated time to it! Over the past month or so when I’ve had free time,I’ve been slowly getting through these little vintage childrens book inspired illustrations. 🐊✨ Fun fact: I went to school for illustration and wanted to pursue a career in books for kids, so doing this fanart feels like a big full circle moment haha! I took a lot of inspiration from one specific illustrator with a whole bunch of my own style and touches in them. I also did a lot of thinking and research on how I’d approach albums + song references, so I hope you enjoy them!

The plan right now is a limited run of 11 x 17 Risograph prints which I’ll have online + at Field of Vision/NYC this summer. I’ve also got some stickers and mini booklets in the works, so keep your eye for the drop! For now, I’d love to hear which one is your favorite. :o) Thanks for looking, excited for the shows in August!
