steve not taking care of himself in ways that are basically self harm but no one knows because of his healing factor

he'll ignore wounds on purpose and that would get most people infected, but he heals faster than the baseline human and is immune to disease so no one bats an eye when he skips medical again

he drinks enough high proof liquor to give the baseline human alcohol poisoning ten times over but no one thinks he has a drinking problem because they think he can't get drunk, but it's not that he can't get drunk, his body just processes alcohol more efficiently

he's in the gym too much but everyone brushes it off because of course cap is a gym rat, he's an avenger so of course he has to train, he has to keep up with the job somehow, no he's not over-exerting himself, he'll be fine, he's a supersoldier.

Steve not eating enough because he still feels weird about how much food he needs and he's too depressed and numb to really care about meal planning and proper nutrition, but no one realises because they don't have enough context to do the math on his caloric need.

Steve not sleeping enough, because of nightmares, or fear of not waking up, or stress, or trying to have some kind of control over his life, but the serum can keep him running on less sleep---but it means his body thinks it's always in survival mode.

Steve stretching the truth about what his serum does so no one gets suspicious or has enough cause to suspect he's pushing himself beyond what he can handle long term.

Steve’s body giving out one day because he's been strung out for too long and the serum can't cover for him anymore.

the fact that people overlook almost every characters truama in the avengers movies,

they just say that tony is a narcissist and hes just a funny character when really he jokes to cope with the loss of his mom and the bad things hes done, he hates himself but he chooses to go on with his life rather than mope on it.

bucky having sooo much truama due to hydra scrambling his brain, if he hears any of the words that were used to trigger him, he will tweak out for a second.

the fact that steve have to fight bucky while he was triggered, buck couldnt remember him and it probably hurt him so much to do that. steve fight for everyone and doesnt want to kill anyone, he just doesnt like bullys. Its been stated before that steve always has to make everything into a war, because to him he cant live without one. chris evans said it himself, steves whole life is about fighting in wars and doing whats right.

bruce fighting with the hulk for years and years, treating it like a disease rather than part of him, him only caring about the hulk when he needs to fight someone/thing, the way the hulk refused to come out in infinity war. then he finally learned how to live with himself, accepting the hulk and becoming one. controling his temper.

nat, always lying and not being honest about herself, she feels like she cant be herself around anyone without being called an assassin or a villain.

thor and loki. thats all i have to say.

hawkeye, the fact he lost his family and felt the need to kill people to get revenge. he knew it wasnt him, but he was so mad and angry at the loss of his family that he couldnt bear to be himself. he couldnt, knowing his family wasnt there. it didnt feel right.
