anna from eclipse had such classy airport fashion...? she’s usually is youthful and bright i wasn’t expecting it. plus she gave us a super cute selfie!!! 

this....girl is gorgeous...? park sooyoung, from what i see on sns everyone calls her joy! her picture made me want to run to jeju THAT SAME MINUTE. where have these girls been? 

there are so many beautiful girls, everyone looked gorgeous but these were some of my favorites. now if you ask me... the girls in trc are much prettier than i expected, i still prefer my royal flowers though. let’s see what other girls

wow..... so you mean to tell me, that both Celine and Sona dropped... then you put Nayoung in....... you lost two vocals to replace them with Nayoung who is okay at singing sure......? it is very.... weird to me that they picked her? i mean i did like her on royal survival, but i wasn’t expecting her. maybe it was to make up for the fact she was cut after the first episode. when i was at the showcase and i saw her, i was like ???

if i were so jisub i honestly would’ve picked jisoo or rose. jisoo purely on looks alone could compete with seolhyun or xayah. rose for her looks and singing. i’m sure rose has gotten even better. or if they wanted to throw nayoung/jazz in it should’ve been her AND rose? 

rose and nayoung together wouldn’t have been a bad option either??? 

i mean seoyoung and jihyun can carry the group vocally, seolhyun has gotten a lot better at singing and xayah sounds much better live now. it’s just-- IF THEY PICKED ANOTHER VOCALIST-- THEN US FANS WOULDN’T HAVE TO DO MENTAL GYMNASTICS ON HOW THE GROUP WILL FUNCTION FROM NOW ON. 

i do wish nayoung/jazz the best of luck, because she probably has a lot of hate coming her way. from past royal survival fans, celine and sona fans. fans in general who liked the original line up. 

FOR THE RECORD I DO NOT HATE NAYOUNG/JAZZ. I just think So Jisub should’ve really considered the options before shoving her in the group without a proper introduction or explanation.

leftovers: royal survival / luxe

yes it’s over. it’s been over, but i do want to make one last post on it before i completely let go. now this is all my opinion, remember that. 

★ ★ ★   i personally think-- ashley, yes hyuna would’ve been a better fit for luxe. i love eunae/xayah, and i think she’s gorgeous-- super talented. if we’re talking in terms of rap, i prefer hyuna’s a little bit more. now that being said, it’s pretty obvious with hyuna now being on the MGAs that Royal either A. let her go. or B. she left because she just didn’t want to be there anymore. i wouldn’t blame her for leaving, i honestly was shocked when she didn’t make into Luxe. it really sucks, and i think So Jisub is going to regret it big time. 

even in musicality i think she has so much to offer? so now we just have to wait and see what happens in the MGAs. hopefully she goes far and a new company picks her up. i will follow ashley no matter what even though she’s not in royal anymore. 

★ ★ ★  i’m a soohyun fan don’t forget that ( sorry soohyunie! ), to be honest, i think the right call was made for her not to be in Luxe.  just looking at the teasers i’m really glad she isn’t in luxe. it would not fit her at all. i think seoyoung was the better choice. seoyoung and soohyun both have the cute factor, but seoyoung is just a bit more mature looking. she blends in well with the other girls. she’ll draw in male fans by the truckload!! her and jihyun noona are my biases in luxe! 

★ ★ ★  while i want soohyun to debut, seeing her in luxe would’ve probably made a lot of people cringe. they are obviously going for a lady like pretty image. though i think ashley would be a better fit, i know eunae is going to be super popular. she’s got everything a star needs! talent, looks and charisma! 

★ ★ ★  i want their music video to come out like now! i still can’t believe Luxe is really happening and we were all there to witness it! now that we have mgas, i want more survival shows! bring them all on! royal survival season two perhaps? we didn’t get enough of jazz! or maybe another reality show? i’d love to watch another one! anyone remember the sphere/trc documentary? i want another one!

okay, since i haven’t made a lot of posts since royal survival i do wanna talk about my current favorites of the season. 

females

park kyungri - wow, okay.. girls like her aren’t really my kind of flavor. but she’s like the perfect amount of frosting on a cake. gorgeous, she can say the abcs and i could be captivated by her. she’s got star potential. 

choi yoojung - she’s just so cute her rapping in the last episode was kind of refreshing. she’s a better dancer than rapper though, but she’s young and has time to improve! 

kim hyuna - is anyone shocked? nope. i loved her in royal survival, i love her here now. i can’t believe she’s on another show though TT So Jisub hyung what is going on in that building?? like a steak-- hyuna makes your mouth water and you just want more of her. KIM HYUNA IS BACK!! 

jung jinsoul - what a beauty- her singing is just as beautiful. a nice clear vocal tone. i really want her to do well... jung jinsoul!! fighting ~! 

bae joohyun - your eyes automatically go to her, like when you walk by a bakery and see all of the decorated cakes. with the right amount of training, she could be the next big thing... she’s got the look-- she needs to work on her singing a bit though. dancing-- she’s pretty decent at, maybe she’ll end up as a rapper / sub vocal someday. 

males

kang daniel - i love daniel end of story. i enjoy seeing him on screen in general. nothing too much to add to that. 

joo haknyeon- i like him.. but he looks like he could steal your girlfriend on accident. does that make sense? your girlfriend would fall for him. stay away from my wife lee soohyun!! you wolf!! ( but please do well in mga! thank you!! )

if i had to pick a male… hmm… byun baekhyun would be my favorite royal boy. he’s handsome, and can sing… i feel embarrassed talking like this about another guy. he seems to have a lot of aegyo, which i like a lot. i hope he does well whenever he debuts, i will definitely be checking on him every step of the way. ( though... i like yien a lot too…. but ah.. he’s a former royal boy now ~ ) 

female…. okay, i think it’s obvious who my favorite girl trainee is. lee soohyun! she’s my dream girl, i can’t even… now my heart is pounding crazily.. i just.. yes, soohyunnie is my favorite royal girl! i won’t go into too much details or i’ll be here all night

★ sizzling episode four ★

alright, so episode four aired! it was so tense! like perfecting a souffle! i honestly was a little... surprised? i mean well, not surprised surprised . as a man watching it, everyone looked beautiful! jisub hyung really was tested tonight, rest well. it’s not easy being a ceo no? 

battle one! fight! kim yubin vs ahn hyojin ( elly )  initial reaction to match up: i think jisub hyung put them up against each other since they match well. he has to see who is better or is more capable of being molded into the image he has for his group. i expected them to be facing off! 

i for one was impressed with yubin’s performance. i honestly expected her to do a self composition or something. yet, she was during an aerial performance? i honestly felt my heart race... she looked so beautiful. i was shook up by her! did she always know how to do things like this? i’m sure everyone was expecting a hardcore rap or even something.. emotional to come from yubin. she has a lot of baggage, so she probably wants to be sure to show many sides to her. this was a more feminine side, and i really enjoyed the performance! bravo yubin noona!! i’m in the middle on the fact that she ended up going home, i’ll elaborate on my feelings later.      now onto elly, i was... eh? i was more into yubin’s aerial performance. not saying elly’s wasn’t good, because she did well. i just.. didn’t expect her to play instruments or anything. i do think it’s good to show what you have to offer aside from rapping elly noona, but i do think her and yubin should’ve rapped. i know they wanted some shock or intrigue from jisub hyung. it’s just i always think it’s a good thing to show your strengths! elly’s performance was grand, and you could tell she was into it. sometimes people who know multiple instruments get bored, and you can really tell when they phone in a performance. elly looked really pretty too! i hope she doesn’t overwork herself.      both are main rapper material! sure a lot of idol groups don’t even need a rapper a lot of the time. but maybe they could go onto unpretty rapstar or something and rep for their group! break the idol stereotype! 

battle two! fight! kim seolhyun vs. manoban lisa  initial reaction to match up: makes sense.. but unfair. 

right so seolhyun, honestly.. i was kinda bored during her performance. i like the song choice, i was surprised she chose to sing. since well she isn’t really a singer. i bet she’s jealous of the real vocalists of the show. they want to sell her as a triple threat, but i’m not buying sorry royal! kim seolhyun you’re a dancer don’t forget that, cosplaying as a vocal is really unforgivable! if she wasn’t as pretty as she is, people would probably tear her to shreds. she looked pretty, and she sounded alright. i think she did what she could for her performance, it was obvious jisub was going to pick her no matter what she did!      ah.. lisa, my poor lisa. i’m so happy she has improved her skills, and i liked her performance because i know she was doing her best to improve. lisa and seolhyun have the charisma an idol needs, the crowd goes wild when they even smile or anything! lisa is like.. a baker learning the art of making a wedding cake. mess up a lot, but after a few tries it’ll be something beautiful! lisa, i’m rooting for her. from the bottom of my heart, i want to see her succeed! 

battle three! fight! park chaeyoung ( rose ) vs yang jiwon initial reaction to match up: oh no.. i hope this doesn’t end their relationship TT

rose, ah.. okay i was a fan of this performance... i won’t even lie. even if i think rose shouldn’t be in an idol group, i do think she should never stop singing. the song choice was ahh ~ it fit well for her voice, just like the song title, her voice sounded just like honey sweet ~ if she shows an image like this more often i could change my mind about her! i was really happy with this performance!     jiwon’s performance, honestly i found it to be petty. not the kind of petty, where you agree with it. just.. the unnecessary kind. like we get it... you think jisub hyung is mean. he’s not here to be your pal, he is potentially your future employer. that being said i don’t think you should suck up to him either, but don’t throw a fit on stage. it was nice to hear her though! i like her voice a lot, it’s not my favorite. i do still think it’s pretty!  i wish she sang something else but hey, she had a point to prove right? well jisub liked it, good on her! 

battle four! fight! lee soohyun vs lee jihyun initial reaction to match up: the main attraction is here!     soohyun, my princess! okay so what i love about soohyun is that she is always herself. i see a lot of comments talking about her looks, leave her alone! soohyun can at least sing and is charming, everything she does she adds her own touch to it. her face is so youthful, and full of life performing. she picked a song that fit her too! what an otaku... ah soohyunnie... what i’m scared about is, that jisub won’t see a need for her in a group. i hope she shows a different side of herself. she’d be the perfect maknae! comparing her to jihyun her self proclaimed rival, she has a lot to learn. but i do think soohyun gave it her best shot. if she did something too different it would’ve been awkward. soohyun you put up a good fight, and even jisub loved what you did. i’m sure jihyun is proud of you too. i liked this battle a lot.. even if i knew.. jihyun noona was going to win it.       jihyun, i think this is how you get attention the right way. her voice was great as usual. she looked pretty too! jihyun is finally getting back on top! proving that she deserve to be on majors, and that she is indeed debut ready! she really gave it her all.. when you’re desperate you tend to put out wither your best or your worst. jihyun wanted a true victory all on her own, and this was it. i was happy watching it, and even chuckled when she said jisub hyung’s name. though be careful jihyun noona! i do think soohyun someday has a shot of beating you! i have to be supportive of my girlfriend after all!  

battle five! fight! nam dawon vs jung soojung intial reaction to the match up: *yawn* okay! 

dawon won. that’s pretty much it. when she opened her mouth to sing, she won it. soojung was as boring as vanilla cake, no surprises there! her voice is nice, but i just.. got so bored. i hope she seriously looks into doing anything else, besides these boring ballads. soojung you’re pretty, you can sing.. DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR TALENTS. i’m ugh more frustrated with her than anyone else on this show. 

battle six! fight! jegal seoyoung vs jo eunae  initial reaction to the match up: oh no.. i like them both. 

seoyoung i was.. surprised! i thought it was different, i just wish she did something more cute. i prefer a cute image on seoyoung, but she did a good job performing full moon. i think 24 Hours would’ve been a better fit, though I liked what she did. jisub was surprised like i was! i think it’s good to show you can be versatile! she’s so cute and chubby, like soohyun! i think they’d match well in a group!    eunae, girl crush extraordinaire! she knocked it out of the park, and i’m glad she stuck to her image and did what she knew best! i loved watching her and my eyes were glued to the screen! if i didn’t give my heart to soohyun, i would probably fork it over to eunae for sure! 

so let’s talk about yubin’s elimination. i wonder something-- when she goes back to trc-- will she be okay? or will everyone treat her like a slithering snake, a traitor? yubin is a much older trainee.. i don’t blame her for wanting to take this chance to debut. i do think she fits trc’s style a lot more, so i see this as a blessing in disguise. yubin noona will be okay, elly and eunae are the only female rappers left.. i think jisub is choosing between them. ( jisub hyung seems a bit greedy, i’m sure he really wanted yubin but hey-- he had to do what he had to. )

here are my general opinions of current girls. ( meaning jazz and yubin aren’t on this list. i will talk about them separately )

seoyoung

i think she’s really cute, i think she could be a staple member? she can sing well enough, dance well enough, and she’s cute. unfortunately she’s not my favorite girl here, i won’t be mad if she ends up in the final lineup. i do think she has a chance. seoyoung is a fan fave no? i bet she’s really popular with guys. i’ll go look to find seoyoung supporters! i bet i’ll find some! i like girls with a lot of aegyo, so seeing her smile warms my heart so much. a precious noona really!

jihyun 

i am an avid supporter of lee jihyun and lee soohyun! team vocalee! i remember seeing that on social media, so i’m coining it here. jihyun has come far, her audition left much to be desired BUT BUT!!! noona seriously came through these past few episodes!! finally, we’ve been waiting and she’s delivered! her vocal color is super pretty, and she just seems so.. mature? no not mature, she’s cool but i bet she’s a bit dorky in person. i really want to meet her someday.. i wonder if she’ll follow me back on twitter. in regards to her talent, it’s obvious she has it. she better end up in the final lineup, jisub hyung will shoot himself in the foot if he doesn’t put her there. her visuals.. remind me of.. like early 2010s kpop? big pretty eyes, small face! chic right? 

rose

she has a nice voice, she’s pretty too. it’s just.. sometimes i forget about her, when she’s next to other girls. when i see the camera just pan to her, i go, “ah there is rosie noona, ah she looks good this episode.” but when she’s around other girls i forget her. i want to see her play guitar more, i do think jiwon and her match well. fansites will probably pop up for their ship. stylistically and ideally, i’d like to see her as a solo or maybe in a duet situation? i don’t think being in a group is for rose. i think she’d be the type to do rebellious things to get attention, or do something to damage the group. better off alone or in a small group. 

seolhyun

she’s... not my type at all actually. that being said i do think she’s gorgeous, but i wouldn’t go out with her. her dancing is nice to watch, but she comes off.. a bit i don’t know... fake? not fake i guess. maybe the sort of girl that’s like really full of herself. she’s just pretending to be humble. her singing in my opinion really needs work, she’s definitely sub vocal level. compared to the other vocalists... she’s okay. i personally believe she’ll end up on the final lineup, which isn’t a bad thing. i feel that jisub hyung will put her in the group, even if she doesn’t fit the concept. he is going to make seolhyun happen somehow. ( this can backfire jisub hyung so be careful ) 

lisa 

i don’t what it is.. about her, but i really do like lisa. actually i feel bad for lisa, because she’s trying her best but keeps being thrown into the minor team. ever since the first episode i feel she’s been an underdog, it’s insane how gorgeous she is. you can be pretty and be an underdog. sometimes looks can’t get you everything, but i do feel happy that lisa is realizing she has to have something even if it’s mediocre. lisa-ah, continue to find your niche! i do think she should try being a variety personality or fashion model. if we’re talking skills, lisa i think she should take dancing more seriously! her body is really thin and pretty, so the movements will look 10 out of 10! 

dawon

this girl can sing, and she continues to improve with being more memorable. her singing is on par with jihyun, in my opinion, and i do think dawon can knock it out of the park and make the cut. from nova right? why has nova tucked her away this long? jisub hyung aka mister steal yo trainee, has come through. he’s not going to let her go now that he’s really seeing her come out of he shell! she’s on the major team where i think she’s going to stay for a while. as for her visuals, she actually has a very sweet girl next door look. in the way you could meet someone like her on the street, approachable! 

soojung

i think.. she’s really pretty.. that’s kind of it. her voice is nice, but i’ve heard many voices like hers. seen plenty of faces like hers even, i do think she’s improved on making a presence, i just.. eh. i’m bored by her. a piece of decorated vanilla cake. you’ve seen and tasted it a million times. bland and safe. add some sprinkles to your life soojung! or even colored frosting! 

soohyun

i’m enchanted by her, lee soohyun is going to be my girlfriend. she can sing, and she’s so bright.. every time she talks it’s like a song! someone like soohyun is my type ~ i love that she’s always herself no matter what, she knows how to make everything her own. also she seems so sweet, like.. a strawberry shortcake. layers of loveliness, and no matter how many times you eat it you love it! sure she isn’t a dancer, but for me it doesn’t matter. when she sings i can forgive her bad dancing. ( sorry soohyunie.. forgive me... ) her voice sounds like.. spring? when she sings i know it’s her. i love how she is a low key otaku.. Otakuhyun!! i do want to see her in the final lineup along with jihyun, i think together they could make magic. i’m a supporter of the vocalees! i do think she should us show a mature image someday, maybe with a sensual song? goodbye baby was a 180 of her usual image and i really enjoyed it. ( TT I’m not a pervert okay. ) most guys probably will think she’s short and chubby, not pretty at all. but she makes my heart beat! 

jiwon

personally her voice isn’t my favorite, i prefer dawon, jihyun and soohyun’s voices. i do think she could be in an idol group, unlike rose. but i think she matches well with rose maybe they can be a duet. she’s been a trainee for a looong time, longer than most girls on the show.. you think she’d be able to do a variety of things. maybe we just haven’t seen or heard everything she can do yet! i am curious to see more of jiwon, she’s seriously gorgeous! she’s from america too right? i wish they’d show her talking to the other girls in english, i bet she sounds really chic... maybe i should learn english too TT 

eunae

okay honestly, kt should’ve kept this girl with them. katie lee is going to regret losing her to jisub hyung. she has what it takes to make the final line up, she looks like an idol. in the sense that this was really meant for her to do? like she’d be blend easily into a girl group and stand out all on her own you know? i think she’s going to go really far. tall, pretty, talented? i’m sure guys are lining up to get her photocard, autographs, girls will too! i think she’s the true girl crush of this show, i think she already has supporters. i wonder if she has fansites around? eunae is a gem, and i can’t wait to see her grow! she’s a rapper, hopefully she gets a little.. better at singing.. because i don’t know what happened during goodbye baby.. she sounded.. pretty.. bad. i still like her though! 

elly 

okay this noona.. is sexy crazy cool? i like elly actually, i do think she has a lot to offer an idol group, but i think she’d be great as like a creative director? or help write the songs and produce. if she was in the final lineup, i feel we wouldn’t get to see her full potential till mid to late in the group’s career. which would be a shame that she’d have to wait so long you know? visually... looking at elly, i snooped around her social media. she’s become prettier and prettier imo! ( once she finds a nice make up style, she’ll be set. ) also her voice, is just so unique like it’d be hard to emulate it. what university did she go to? a music school? elly noona please continue do well,
