Rah and Apophsis- One errant doodle whilst listening to mythology podcasts spun out of control into this. Because when you draw egyptian sungod Rah, of course you need to work in his ties to Khepri and the eye of Rah myth. Of course you have to add the sundisk, and Wadjet, it's cobra godess protector. Let's not forget Rahs Sun boat, and... Of course, if he is on his Sun boat, you GOTTA add his foe Apophsis (or Apep if you wanna be oldschool) the Night Serpent! It all ran away from me. I have to admit, I suck at keeping a social media precense, and have had problems finding time to work on personal stuff for the longest time. The last three of the minis in the house have been painted! Phew, it's going to be nice to go out and... WHAT'S THIS ABOUT QUARRANTINE? These were a lot of fun to do, though marred with dissapearing parts and having to hand-make replacements with tools all the wrong size, but our lord Isabelle approves nontheless(in the background of further pictures, Tumblr people whom only get to see one). That she got into the background was actually an accident, she's just on the same shelf, but hey, I aint gonna say no to a very relevant hashtag when it presents itswlf willingly. When the sun is out and the squad gathers for groupshots. Been isolated to my apartment these last few days with some flu-like symptoms (probably NOT the epomynous beer-sickness, but better safe than contagion), but at least I had stuff to do! So yeah, more mini-painting. The frontman with the lantern would actually look like his landlocked brethren if it wasn't for some extra parts being left over from the winged fella and me feeling like whittling plastic for some custom minis. Been home sick and exhausted today, so I decided to paint some miniatures for a couple of hours. The precise nature of it all is quite meditative and helps calm me and sort of reset (or maybe the paint and glue fumes also play a part... Remember to keep it well ventilated, kids!). I thought I'd pop in again with another miniature/craft photoset. Here is BRONT DONTSON, the Solsi (aproximate naga) wrestler! He is one of my favorite ttrpg characters to play, a lovable doofus brute with a heart of gold.
