As a Christian body we have really ostracized the LGBT community. We need to let them know God loves them, God is their friend, and they have every right to be saved and worship Him.

Remember this: the people who REALLY love you, will hold you accountable. They will do this because they care about your well-being. Does not God do the same? His Word keeps our hearts in check. If you are Christian, you’ll face conviction. And it will hurt. But conviction alongside His grace, leads to repentance. A repentant heart turns away from the things misleading them, and returns back to the path God has set before them. So, know who your true friends are, and when they try and keep you on the right path, realize they care enough about you to not let you destroy yourself.
Prayer is our way of communicating with God. It’s not simply telling God what He already knows, but the act of a child coming to a father for guidance, comfort, love, and forgiveness.
We cannot neglect prayer if we want to have a relationship with God, because without prayer, there is no relationship!
Hey ladies and gents, I was wondering if we could lift my friend Jen up in prayer. She is a prodigal in every sense of the word and I Know the enemy is lying to her telling her she lost her relationship with God, and I've been praying for her but I know prayer takes numbers. So if you could keep her in your prayers I would really appreciate it. Please reblog.

The right thing to do when you’ve sinned and feel unworthy of grace? Run back to Jesus. The safest thing to do when you’ve been hurt and feel depressed? Run back to Jesus. The healthiest thing to do when you’ve slipped up and did what you swore you’d never do again? Run back to Jesus. The best thing to do when you feel alone and can’t take anymore pain? Run back to Jesus.
Sometimes the questions are complicated, but the answer is always simple:
Run back to Jesus. He is able.
Today I remembered how Jesus chose, hung out with, and trained up 12 messy, sinful, average underdogs (aka. the Apostles) who carried out His plan and preached the Gospel, shared His love, and made disciples in nations all over the world… and I thought about how flawed and average I feel sometimes, but how God can take what seems small, average, and unusable, and use it to change the world.
That really encouraged me.

— Charles Spurgeon (via alistairradley)

“A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

God loves you in such a way that He’d rather die than live without you.
You took the cross for our shameful addictions, our hurt, our pain, our lack of purpose, our constant insecurity, our restless hearts, our need to fill voids with empty things.
You would go so much further to keep us in your love.
What a savior. What a friend.
“He foresaw my every fall, my every sin, my every backsliding; Yet, nevertheless fixed his heart upon me.”
