Is there anything more Glorious than Scottish 6-ply Cashmere? Yes, yes there is. It is Queene and Belle’s 6-ply Scottish Cashmere.Â

I don’t even know what season we’re in anymore, but here’s the Colombian Missoni: Pepa Pombo, a family run outfit with some mean textile magic. ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with the Purple pixel dress they did a couple of seasons ago, time to fly down to Bogota. Â

Happy Halloween my Lovelies, check back after your revels next week for our exclusive on ‘Straylah!
It’s the end of summer, so in tribute to our trashy summer read of choice Kevin Kwan’s China Rich Girlfriend, we’ve pulled together some choice culinary selections to prepare you jetsetters for colder weather... Mandarin Kitchen (Bayswater, London): lobster noodles, last time i was there I ordered a mean sweet and sour chicken too. In n’ Out (endemic to california): duh, and obviously order off- menu (hello cheese fries!). Din Tai Fung (multiple; Glendale LA) xiao long bao and basically all the other dumplings. Monsieur Bleu (Palais de Tokyo, Paris) art and steak fritte?
Went to see Lord Leighton’s lovely lady ‘Flaming June’ at the Frick this week. The Pre-Raphaelites were one of my first great interests in the field of history of art. The ambiguity of this subject matter here and the ruthlessness of the composition (that cannot be a comfortable way to sleep and yet this Mediterranean terrace couldn’t be a more inviting place for a cat nap) for its aesthetic needs is typical of the movement, as is the light referencing of the ancient world in the architecture and garments depicted. The short brushstrokes at the top are so wonderfully accurate for the glint of summer on the sea. And then I am wondering about those Oleanders in the corner, gorgeous but poisonous, perhaps June is une femme fatale non? Or has some garden variety of tuberculosis? Love a bit of Victorian melodrama.Â
It’s official Zimmermann has hit New York with stores in Soho and Manhasset, we cannot wait to pick up some bikinis, cutout dresses, and chic boho tops. Welcoming an Australian invasion, when’s Alice McCall arriving in town?
