hello blaseball fans! welcome one and all to the boston flower bracket, where your favorite and least favorite flowers will face off against each other in a bracket to the death. or maybe just to the loss.
this bracket was inspired by the many other blaseball brackets currently running, but especially by the @hawaiifridaysbracket , whom i shamelessly stole this format from because i was finding it utterly impossible to do the math for this.
the flowers famously have 9 million players (team big!), so i did institute some rules for a player to qualify, in order to make this a bracket that would actually have an even number of match ups. the final ruling was that in order to qualify, players must have seen active play on the flowers during beta blaseball. no coronation era players unfortunately, as they made my numbers utter hell. there was one exception made to this rule, however, in order for me to round out the numbers: three short circuits players (the ones who were discharged at the end of each circuit) are also here. i needed three players to make an even 64 and it was the only group of three players i could really find, okay? maybe i'll do a second bracket for all the players who couldn't fit. maybe.
polls will start on may 4th and will run on the following schedule:
rounds 1-3: four polls/day (one day each)
round 4 (qualifiers): two polls/day (one day each)
round 5 (semi-finals): one poll/day (one day each)
finals: 1 poll, running for a full week!
each poll will list a brief amount of information about the player and link their wiki page.
propaganda of all kinds is accepted (and i will try to reblog it if i can), voter fraud is entirely allowed, all i ask is that you keep it civil with myself and any other voters. have fun!
