below is some extra information about my current situation, but please keep in mind that none of it is shared for pity, i just really hate asking for help in the first place, so i do feel the need to let people know kind of what’s going on.
anyway, i’ve been debating back and forth with myself when it comes to how much i actually want to share, but i feel like i do want to give a little bit more information, so here’s what’s happening: i had to delay my degree with a gap-year because of my ptsd and severe burnout (stalker, rapist, toxic relationship, all three different people, you get it. it’s been a lot. anyway.) i am of course picking up small jobs here and there, along with some online sw, and from summer until october-ish, it was working okay, but it ended up being a rough month, and now things are a bit more difficult. my medication is expensive, i have credit card bills in collections from buying groceries, my library is only open a few hours on weekdays, which means that most of the work i do, i have no choice but to do from home, but i still don’t have stable wifi, so my phone bill is a bit higher than it used to be, etc.
(there is a light at the end of the tunnel, a family member is getting a raise this summer, which is set in stone, and i’m going to be put on ptsd medication soon, which hopefully means i’m going to be doing better and be able to do more things, etc.)
