Time for some therapy.
Oh, right, that. Okay, here we go.
That's it! See? You're practically a natural!
Never Too Late | Sebastian + Blaine
As the door was opened and the boy standing on the other side was revealed, Sebastian couldn’t help but let a small smile creep on to his face. However, that smile slowly turned in to a smirk as Sebastian noticed Blaine clearly checking him out. He let the other boy have his fun for a moment longer before clearing his throat. “Like what you see, Anderson? If you do, you should just tell me. My ego could use a boost.” Sebastian’s grin remained playful so Blaine would know that Sebastian wasn’t being spiteful or intentionally rude at all. “But yes, I’m ready to go.” Sebastian stepped out from the door frame so Blaine could walk beside him.
"I figured the coffee shop was casual enough," Sebastian stated, nervously rubbing his hands together. For some reason, he was trying to make all the right moves. Maybe it was because he really needed something tonight. Or maybe it was because the last date he was on was so royally fucked up that he was determined to redeem himself on this one. Either way, he was more tense than usual and decided he needed to loosen up. Blaine had accepted the date, which meant he wanted to go on it. Sebastian simply had to base this off of that sentiment.
They reached the coffee shop, filling the time traveling there with simple small talk. It wasn’t busy at all, and Sebastian and Blaine stepped to the front of the line quickly. “I’ll have a Gingerbread Latte with two shots of espresso, and for him…” Sebastian looked over at Blaine, waiting for his answer.
The other boy's words, coupled with his charming and playful smirk, made Blaine's cheeks to heat up and, undoubtedly, turn red. He supposed Sebastian was used to that sort of thing, being complimented on his dashing appearance everywhere he went. For Blaine, it was a different story, he was always complimented for being cute, or looking like a Disney Prince. The only one who had ever made him feel desirable... was Sebastian. Of course, Blaine Anderson was too flustered at this moment to come out and say that he thought the other boy looked like an Adonis, probably one of the most stunning men he'd ever met. No, Blaine Anderson simply gave an awkward chuckled, looked down at his shoes and fell in step beside Sebastian as they made their way to the coffee shop.
Had Blaine been flattered by Sebastian's constant attempts to get him into his bed? Of course! Who wouldn't be? Was he going to put out because of this or because he knew that Sebastian wanted to? Of course not! He was the shining Prince of Aurora, one of the best heroes in his class, in the running to become head of the student body. There was no way he was going to let one night with Sebastian, one wrong choice, tarnish his reputation. Nonetheless, he saw something in the way Sebastian glanced over at him on the way to the cafe, something more than just basic, physical attraction. Blaine knew there was a whole other side to Sebastian, other than the steely, bad boy front he put up for everyone around Aurora, and Blaine wanted to get to know that other side. He wanted to know if that other side was worth falling for Sebastian.
As the two entered the almost quiet coffee shop, Blaine nodded to a few people he recognized; heroes that had asked him for tips and pointers on power control, sidekicks who would bring him things or offer to carry his books in hopes he kept them in mind for pairing. He caught a few confused looks, no doubt people were questioning as to why he was with the school's Lothario, but he ignored it, even when they got out their phones and began texting furiously. He wasn't about to let meaningless gossip ruin his date. As they approached the counter, Blaine stared a little wide eyed at Sebastian's exotic coffee order, Blaine was more of a 'stick to the basics' kind of guy. "I'll just get a medium drip thanks."
Time for some therapy.
Alright, okay. My hands are there. Let what rip?
You know, punch! Let all the anger out!
Never Too Late | Sebastian + Blaine
Sebastian hadn’t been on a date since…well, since he discovered his power. He hadn’t been too keen on them since. In fact, the whole decision to ask Blaine out had been completely on a whim. He wasn’t planning on it at all. His original plan had been to get in Blaine’s pants. But Blaine wanted a relationship, and feelings, and…and Sebastian had gone for the bait. He was so stupid to be tricked, and he cursed his power for not giving him invulnerability against stuff like this. Relationships and things. Because Blaine reminded him an awful lot of Alex, and Alex wasn’t here any more. And maybe that was why Sebastian was so hell bent on being with him.
He sprayed his cologne and looked in the mirror, pleased with his appearance as always. Sebastian had a lot of confidence in his looks, and he wasn’t afraid to use them to his advantage, not that he needed to. Blaine obviously saw something in him beyond looks, because Sebastian knew that Blaine wasn’t one to judge a guy completely on his appearance. Maybe it was Sebastian’s forwardness, or his consistency in bothering the other boy. Whatever it was, he was getting more and more antsy about this date.
He stepped out of his dorm room and began the long trek down the hallway towards Blaine’s. He knew where his was because they had walked together a few times to hero training, simply because there was no one else there. Sebastian knew he couldn’t push anything after this date, but that didn’t mean that he wasn’t going to do everything in his power to get Blaine to at least make out with him afterwards. He’d been going through a dry spell lately, mostly because he had been spending so much time pursuing the other boy, and he needed something, anything, to keep him going.
Sebastian brought his fist to the door and knocked, waiting patiently while he rocked back and forth on his heels. A coffee didn’t require much commitment, even if Sebastian did pay for it.
This was real, this was happening. Blaine Anderson had actually accepted a date offer from Sebastian Smythe, a thing he thought would never be possible. Ever since the two had met, Blaine couldn't deny that there was a spark between the two, and he'd caught his eyes lingering on the brunette more times than he'd want to admit. But Sebastian was the lothario of Aurora, and in the short time they'd been there, he'd carved a path through most of the eligible boys, which was something that had initially turned Blaine off. Given he was what some would refer to as 'old school', Blaine still believed in true love, devotion and adoration for the one you're with, the one you share yourself with. So he couldn't understand how Sebastian would so eagerly share himself with so many.
But Blaine couldn't deny there was something between them. Perhaps he was naive, or giddy from the fact that Sebastian had been relentlessly chasing him since school started. There's something about being flirted with so blatantly that turned Blaine's cheeks red and his knees to jelly. But Sebastian had asked him on a date. Not to make out behind the bleachers. Not into his bed, but on a real date. Hopefully, he actually wanted to get to know Blaine, hopefully he wouldn't just lay on the sleaze and try to schmooze Blaine into sleeping with him.
Just as he was combing his gelled hair to perfection, a knock on the door instantly let loose butterflies in his stomach. He hadn't been on a date with a guy since, well, he didn't particularly like to think about that night. Straightening his bright bow tie, the youth took a long, deep breath, taking in his appearance once more before heading to the door. You can do this Blaine, just be cool and try not to act like a complete fool. Grasping the door handle, he opened the door and looked up at the other boy standing in the hallway. Charming. Debonair. Gorgeous. All words one could use to describe Sebastian Smythe, none of which would truly capture him. It was no wonder all the other guys at Aurora melted like butter at his feet. Realizing he was staring, Blaine cleared his throat and stepped into the hallway, closing his door behind him. "Ready to go?"
Time for some therapy.
Well, okay then, maybe it’ll help me evacuate my frustration with the squad otherwise than with my power, so it can’t be too bad.
Right! Come over here, stand side on, feet a little further apart. Good, here put these on, tense your core muscles, hands up in front of you face, then let it rip.
[Private] I have a new title now.
How about tonight? I’ll come by your dorm around 8.
That sounds per--good, that sounds good.
[Private] I have a new title now.
Yes. Yes, I do.
I, uhm, okay.
[Private] I have a new title now.
Fine. Then let me take you on a date.
Y--you want to go on a date? With me?
Time for some therapy.
It does sounds tempting. I can’t get injured or anything though, so is it safe?
If someone teaches you the correct style, which I'm more than willing to, you should be fine.
[Private] I have a new title now.
Just once?
That's just it, Sebastian. I'm not the 'just once' kind of guy. If I were... if I were to give myself to someone, it would have to be someone I love and cherish, someone I know isn't going to toss me in the bin like trash when they're done with me.
Time for some therapy.
I tried that once. I made my therapist cry and give up.
You made the therapist cry?
[Private] I have a new title now.
Whatever..
Time for some therapy.
Boxing?
I don’t think that would be my kind of thing, but thank you.
You never know until you try!
Does this school not have heat?
Blaine, it’s still November.
Baby it's cold outside.
Does this school not have heat?
