I am still getting over my viral flareup and whatever stomach nastiness that took advantage of my being down for the count. I've been sick off and on all week and also working a ton bc it's feast/famine wrt scheduling. Enough work that Char is working for me some this month. But I've been dragging in terms of energy/feeling physically good.

Anyway I came home this afternoon to give Char the car (I haven't seen her since yesterday afternoon) and when I showed up the apartment smelled AMAZING and was spotless. She made us--from scratch!!--potato empanadas, beans and rice, and two loaves of banana bread. She's on that trad wife shit 😭 I'm so spoiled. I don't have a point to this post, I just have to put the feeling of being loved and lucky somewhere!! Then Char headed out to go dog sit while I spend some down time with my family 🩷🥹 She didn't even do it because she wanted to enjoy it together--she knew I had fam din and she knew she was scheduled to go work! Girl what the fuck. So nice to me.
