Hiiii I saw all your Super Powereds work and im a huge fan of your art style and how you portray the characters (also sidenote I FOUND ANOTHER SILVERSUNGLASSES SHIPPER YAAAAY) and was wondering if you'd be willing to do a commission eventually for a tattoo I want to get to represent the series! Im not set on like any specific idea right now but id like maybe a symbol of each of the characters and maybe like Nick or Vince (or both) like fully in it as people. Maybe something with the card rankings he did for the team exercises? sorry if this isnt very straightforward lol im just brainstorming. - 🪲

played around with an old sketch of my ocs (still a wip, but i don't see myself making much more progress on it for a little while). julien is teaching aya how to cook :-)

process below the cut!

these were the original lines i had from last year (and also a rough sketch layer that i think i accidentally deleted). i wasn't happy with their faces, especially julien's proportions and aya's likeness, so that's what i focused on when redoing it.

i also decided that this scene would most likely take place late in the story or post-canon, so i wanted to draw aya with her hair grown out :-)

i put down rough values in black and white, and then used a gradient map to create the atmosphere i was going for. i used an overlay layer to paint over the gradient map, so that the gradient map colours still influenced the overall pallete of the piece and it remained cohesive.

ALSO here's what it looks like with no lines bc i think that's interesting too!!
