None of this would’ve happened if he didn’t choose to help Adachi and protect him. He shouldn’t have looked the other way. He should’ve just continued his search for the truth instead of burning the trail of the truth. But with how grave things are, there is no turning back. If it wasn’t too late, perhaps he would come clean with the Investigation Team and then apologize to Naoto for burning the evidence that could have Adachi convicted.
Still, it seemed like Arisato-san wanted answers. So he stopped walking away and turned to face him with a cold expression on his face. “…What?”
