Hello, everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed the little event with new translations or will come to read them. Below I list the cards I translated, perhaps you might have missed some or most of them:

Since the 30th September is the release date, I’d like to talk about how I will handle content or spoilers from Ryuusei＊Fantasia.

Mages asked to not post any game content, so out of respect for their hard work I decided to abide to their wish and post neither CG screenshots nor translations. The game is paid content, after all.

I might do summaries at most, but very short ones, if I do any or translate officially posted information. But if you have questions regarding the game play or want to know one or two things about the members or Tsubasa from the game, feel free to ask. I will answer as best as I can.

Other than that, I will continue posting Kaikan card translations until I don’t have any more I want to translate. 

And last but not least, I wish everyone who purchased the game will have a lot of fun reading or playing the game! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

hello! sorry if this is a out of place question sadly i could not find anywhere to ask this but i recently started watching B-pro after stumbling upon the anime yuta is my fav already but i wanna know more about everyone and now that the game is discontinued i have no way i probably will read the event and card storeis later though. anyway how does one get into b-pro fully?

Welcome to B-Project and thanks for this ask!

My recommendation on how to start with BPro is:

Anime Season 1-2

Read the event and card stories of the Kaikan mobile game

Anime Season 3

The anime isn't strong when it comes to storytelling in retrospect, but it's perfect to get to know the core member cast. For more in-depth information and character development I'd suggest to read the many translated stories from the Kaikan game. In 2021 MAGES released the Ryusei Fantasia switch game, however it hasn't been translated, except for some snippets from various sources. It's another dive into the background of all the members.

While season 3 can be watched without any knowledge from the games, it's a lot more fun when you have some knowledge about Kaikan I think because of its references to earlier releases.

Other than this, the BPro Wiki which I linked on my blog is great to learn about each member and the franchise in general. If you don't want to roam through all translations for information, the (regularly updated) character pages act as a summary.

I hope this helped you a bit to set foot in the franchise! If you have more questions, my ask box is always open :)

There were some inconsistencies with details regarding the members' backstories, mainly due to the different storylines of the anime / games. But the basic information you have read about are all true. I don't see why they wouldn't be.

1) Face Reveal of Ultras On Friday, in the newest Gandara BB+ Radio episode (every second Friday of a month!), Natsuki Hanae (Yuta’s VA) and Taku Yashiro (Haruhi’s VA) revealed the faces of the previous teasered duo Ultras. There’s no information on them yet besides their names and VAs.

2) Sneak Peek on the new character designs by Asahi Production The Radio episode also showed us the character sheet for Season 3 and confirmed once again October as the release period. Stay tuned on the actual reveal of Season 3′s key visual!  

3) Last but not least: Kento’s Birthday Solo “Sugar Song” will be released on 30th August!

Can you explain to me that these cards are the same game that you are talking about lso, is everything in the cards here the same as the original story related to the anime? These cards are for the members that have stories. Are they related to the real story in the anime, or is it a fantasy, and is it related to the game that everyone is talking about? How many versions of a game are there, I mean how many games and how are they

Hello!

I can understand your confusion. BPro is a bit messy when it comes to a coherent timeline or proper story content. So, right now it's best to separate the anime and games from each other because they follow a different timeline, it seems.

While the anime acted as an introduction to a wider audience, there have been absolutely no hints in any other released media that reference the anime events, most notably the Yashamaru/Tsubasa conflict or the two big JAPAN DOME concerts.

Then there are the two games, one mobile application game called Kaikan＊Everyday (previously Muteki＊Dangerous; 2017-2020) and the newest addition, the Nintendo Switch game Ryusei＊Fantasia (2021). All the story translations of the cards on this blog come from Kaikan＊Everyday. I have yet to summarize any story content from Ryusei＊Fantasia because it's such a massive amount of story.

My recommendation is to read the card stories and any other translated main story content of Kaikan＊Everday until there are translations for the Nintendo game, as the cards provide a better or more coherent storytelling than the anime. However, the anime seasons provide many interesting character insights as well!

2023 ー Big News

Hello everyone, how are you? It's been a long time since I posted on here. I'm sorry for disappearing, life has been quite hectic and BPro hasn't been posting anything exciting to upheld my motivation, sadly.

However, today on the GANDARA BB+ Radio episode, Yashiro Taku (Haru's VA) and Toyonaga Toshiyuki (Goshi's VA) dropped some major news:

(1) B-PROJECT ～熱烈＊ラブコール～ Yes, you read right, B-Project's Season 3, Passionate＊Love Call, is coming October this year! Both VAs told us that they already recorded a lot of scenes. This season will be animated by yet another studio, Asahi Production (2020: WAVE!!, another project by Mages). The previous staff and cast will return, though.

(2) "B-PROJECT Birthday Project 『Time』" Mark the birthday of your favourite member(s), because on each birthday they will release a CD single with a mini drama as a bonus track to celebrate the member's special day. This also marks the return of Utako Yukihiro as the artist for the cover jackets! The project starts with Goshi's birthday on the 4th July.

As always, Mages prepared different versions for the CD release. In addition to the standard version, there will be a SPECIAL BOX version that includes two badges, an acrylic standee and postcards. For members of the Love&Art Fan Club Mages will give out a platinum release of the single and special bonus.

I'm over the moon about these news, I hope you're, too! This comeback definitely made some waves as BPro was trending on Japanese Twitter for a while after the announcements.

Season 3 News

Last Sunday, the 25th June, the B-PROJECT STAGE EVENT2023 took place with the VAs of Ryuji, Kazuna, Hikaru, Tatsuhiro, Mikado and Akane. Besides event-only activities, they introduced two new characters for the 3rd season!

A popular duo on the platform 「YourTube」 and are affiliated with GANDARA MUSIC, which makes them BPro's label mates.

Ultras consists of Eisuke Kurata (left, VA: Tasuku Hatanaka) and Bunta Kashiwagi (right, VA: Kento Ito). They produce a variety of videos, among them are song covers and songs composed by themselves.

Hello. I apologize if I’m asking something rude, but what happened to the rhythm element of Bpro? I know that the app closed despite a gorgeous full bodied renewal. I had been looking forward to Fantasia hoping to see that both Kaikan’s stories and rhythm game would be included, but it seems as if they are moving on focusing on the songs and stories only. Do you think this was a decision based on fan feedback? It was so fun and I miss it terribly ;_; Thanks for your hard work!

To answer your question: To be honest, I don't know. I also loved the rhythm element of Kaikan Everyday and miss it since the app's shutdown. But Mages. might have been looking into new ways to bring forward the story element of BPro and further develop the bonds between the members, so Ryusei Fantasia was their solution.

I personally didn't mind this step, because the rhythm element, while a nice gimmick, doesn't progress the story (that probably draws people in). Perhaps, when there's a new game, they will bring this element back.

I don't know exactly if it'll make sense but the game RyuFan solves all the mysteries and the plot in the BPro universe or it seems like some dots weren't connected that will probably be explored in future projects? I mean we can expect new things from BPro even after RyuFan?

Ryusei Fantasia solves a lot of mysteries, I would almost say all. It gives B-PROJECT a clean conclusion and start for any new projects.

It depends on MAGES now if and how they make use of the new characters and ideas from the game.

I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone, so please take this as just my opinion.

I personally think that there are moments where the members show some romantic affections for her. However nothing is confirmed or denied, heavily implied at most.
