Truthfully, he should’ve tried to be quieter considering that everyone in this house could actually sleep at a decent hour and here Luke was trying to make himself tea to calm his nerves. He didn’t know why he was letting his bug him so much. It wasn’t like he hadn’t had a crush on a girl before but this girl was different. Everything about her was different and just called to him even more. The letters were exchanged almost every day between the duo and he always went to sleep with a smile on his face thanks to her. He didn’t know what to do since they were only friends… right? He just needed to calm down enough so he could sleep but his thoughts were every where tonight. He looked through to see if he could find his favorite chamomile tea but he couldn’t. He figured he had to settle for peppermint instead. He glanced over his shoulder to see his mother and offered an apologetic smile. “Sorry mum– I just.. I can’t sleep?”
“RIGHT.” there was a nod and then a rub of the eyes. hair was tucked behind the ear and a sigh came out. harri sat down at the very loved table and nodded again. he couldn’t sleep. the sleepless nights seemed to have past down to her youngest, and though she had many of them, harri couldn’t get over how much the fatigue crept upon the human mind, even though it begged to be awake. though, currently, her eyes began to droop. “pour me a mug, please luke. are you feeling alright? you’re not ill, are you? if you are, i can get my own tea-”
