actual image I have just seen on an actual website attempting to sell travel packages. welcome to our plane where there's no aisle so you have to climb over seats if you're not in the first row. the pilot has no legs and is joined to one of the passengers at the wrist.
reblog if you love ao3 exactly how it is and you don’t want it to “update” or change in any way♡
EVERYTHING on Kinger's Screen in Episode 8:
BOMBSHELL AFTER BOMBSHELL
1: The circus members are brain scans, this folder might be the abstracted members. CA_NeuralScans (Obsolete)
2: 'Abel' did exist, and the circles at the beginning of the episode were most likely Caine killing 'Abel'.
3: The circus was created on October 30th, 1996. Kinger's password is Queenie, and this confirms again that Kinger was his username.
4: Ragatha entered the circus on October 15th 2008, Scratch entered the same day but in 1999, and Caine in 1996. Interestingly enough, he is written in LISP, which has links to AutoCAD the modeling software.
5: Not much to actually say here, Caine's internals are protected by both him and bubble.
6: Assuming the GreenGrounds is the circus, Kinger was likely trying to inject the torment program (what the circus members are being tortured with??) with a daemon (automated process) in order to stop it.
Note a censored name [G_AN_]. My guess is on Grant lmao
Since these pictures are covered by Caine and Bubble, I'll write what they probably say. "This IS a wacky word, but WRONG word!" "System selecting SAFEST option for reliability, cancel automatic selection? [Y/N]" "Yes" "Which backup do you want?" "C" "NONE Selected"
"Interpreted as: DELETE" "Confirm deletion of current unstable program (or AI)?" "No" "Negative response! inverting to (?) per (?) protocols!" "DELETE THIS MOTHER*****R, HAHAHAHAHAaaaaaaaaaaaa" "No" "Errored: Proceeding with ORIGINAL decision" "Actually you're CONFUSED let me HELP, should this program EXIST [Y/N]" "Yes" "Override instruction error falling back to default metric" (Kinger tries to yet again load a backup and stun Caine here) "Are you really going to delete Caine? [Y/N]" "YES" (This is where he accidentally hit delete)
Ooh.... yer, there's a virus fucking with that code.
Because this code should loop.
What should run is -
"Which backup do you want?"
"C"
"NONE Selected"
"Which backup do you want?---"
CAIN's file label shows he's already a corrupted file.
That what fragmented text on the file name indicated on win95.
(Fully intact code doesn't have that. He's needed either a slow defrag, or deleting and copying in a backup).
And anything got the label ??? is always a virus.
It's not labeled so, but that's got to be Bubble.
As he sporns from inside of Cain's hat. So file nesting says Bubble's got to be in the larger Cain file to use that asset.
Meaning Bubble got Kinger to deleted Cain, because he didn't have authority to do so himself.
The amount of details in this is crazyyyy and I never would've picked up on aaany of that lol

@noodlecarrot50states @almosttroll @icydeku14
I think you might have put that in a tag at some point 🤔
Let's see...
I'm on track to be salutatorian of my graduating class (aka I have the second highest gpa of the 556 other students in my year). I used to be number 1 but AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE ruined it 😤
Also, I have anemia
@aespere @ihaveglitterbombs @4rielle
HELLO?!? THATS AWESOME🥹 CONGRATS💗
Maybe I make this a little obvious, but maybe my moots don’t know, I’m a private school FREAK. I have only been around the same small handful of people my entire life, and most likely extremely socially stunted 💀🫡 or that I’m Türk! Turkish is my first language :3

J-Dog is still convinced I have autism btw
I have been officially tested for autism specifically and tested more generally for any psychological conditions
Tests came back negative for autism
His current "evidence" is that autism tests were developed with a bias towards men and are inclined to write off autistic behavior in women as "just girls doing weird girl things."
I don't have an opinion one way or the other but I think it's hilarious how adamant he is about this
Hey bestieeeee, I know you say you haven't researched this much... but this is actually what my degree is in 👀 Soooo if you're curious, I can give you a spark notes explanation rq...
Firstly, while it is very true that nearly every medical diagnosis is tested disproportionately on men, it's also true that the potential symptoms for neurodivergent disorders change with age. Just because you don't fit the stereotypical mold of behaviors and characteristics displayed by the opposite sex, in an age range different from yours, doesn't mean you don't have the same disorder. It just means you've presented differently.
Now, looking at this from another angle, sensory issues are extremely common in ADHD/Autism diagnoses. But, experiencing problems with overwhelming stimuli doesn't automatically equate a diagnosis. According to the DSM-5, to be diagnosed, one must meet a certain level of criteria. You can have autistic traits without being autistic. That's why it's a spectrum.
You also mention social anxiety, which is a fairly common comorbidity in ADHD/Autism diagnoses. I don't really have much to say about this, because the presence of one does not automatically mean the other is there as well. As I said before, you can have autistic traits, not be autistic, and also have social anxiety. It really depends on a lot of medical factors, most of which I personally would keep private just for my sanity's sake lol.
Fandom is an inherently neurodiverse place. Being neurodivergent is not a prerequisite to be included in fandom spaces, but there is a high likelihood that you probably are. This is correlation, not causation. One does not lead to the other, but you're a lot more likely to be here and to stay here if you share certain traits with the majority.
We're nearing the end now and I just wanna say that, while the evidence he's compiled might lean in a certain direction, it's all circumstantial. It's common to have certain autistic traits if you participate in fandom activities, but that doesn't make you autistic. It makes you human, with your own quirks and personality. It makes you unique, and that difference is what makes fandom so beautiful.
Finally, you say that you don't care about a diagnosis. Personally, I found comfort in mine. It gave me the tools to address my own uniqueness, a sense of community with like-minded individuals, and the words to explain why and how my brain is wired differently from other people's. However, I fully understand that this sentiment is not a universal one, and it is your right to decide whether pursuing a clinical diagnosis is what you want to do. The DSM-5 is not perfect, just like our understanding of the intricacies of the human brain is not (and never will be) perfect. Science is constantly changing and evolving, so what could qualify you for a diagnosis now might change in 10 years. It is impermanent, but not impactless.
Basically, what I'm trying to say here is that it all comes down to your brain, which no one can know better than you. Anyone can have opinions and their own explanations for why you do what you do. But, at the end of the day, it's all up to you. Your life is your life, and no one can live it for you. So make the most with what you've got, and have as much fun as you can while you're at it.
Say it louder for my brother in the back lol!
It's less a serious conviction he has, and more a running joke where everytime my brain is exceptionally strange, he asks if I've gotten that autism diagnosis yet and I ask if that's really the hill he wants to die on. Having siblings is great, because conversations with them are just like 30 ongoing conversations you've been having since age 5.
But yeah! Except for the gender-age expression and diagnostic differences, I did actually know this stuff! When I say I've been psychiatrically evaluated, I mean we HAVE pursued a clinical diagnosis (did the full evaluation that takes two days and a whole bunch of weeks to analyze the results and you and your loved ones sending in stupid long questionnaires about all the minutae of your life). And we got the results back November of last year, so RECENT recent. That's how I got the very official paper with my very official anxiety diagnosis. I have done quite a bit of research into various psychology things like this, just not specifically the gender-age-autism thing.
Fascinating to hear it from a pal with a degree though! Thanks so much for the in-depth response! Rest assured, I know what I'm doing, this is mostly a joke post about my brother being a dork who likes to start arguments he knows he'll lose for fun. If you're interested in some of the other Weird Shit I've got going on though:
I think describing me as neurodiverse but not autistic is probably the best way to put it. There's a lot of evidence that I DON'T have autism too---I have been proven really adept at reading social cues and interpreting others' emotions and generally figuring out how stuff like small talk is supposed to go. I just also have the anxiety so doing all that stresses me the fuck out and exhausts me. Which manifests as me being kind of antisocial/hermit-y
I also find that allo people have a SERIOUS issue conflating aspec traits with autism spectrum traits. I'm a sex repulsed aroace with no particular desire for a qpr or anything (if I happen to fall into one, great, if I don't, also great) which makes things even more confusing for people trying to understand my mind. While mental health professionals almost completely ignore this because it's the opposite of a problem, it makes the less educated allo people in my life baffled at best and convinced I need drugs to "fix" it at worst.
I also just have a disregard for social norms because I'm too tired from the anxiety to give a shit about things that aren't important. I don't put much stock in appearing "normal" (just in appearing "functional," which my brain likes to push to the extreme of "invulnerable"). I sit on tables and floors instead of chairs and do tasks in the dark and make all my food mushy before eating it and wear noise canceling headphones without anything playing. Which are all very small unobtrusive things, but when you're the only one doing it different, the difference gets exaggerated, and other people will kind of fixate on it and assume your problem is clinical and not just I-Don't-Care-About-Your-Opinion-itis
That makes so much sense!! I'm also a sex repulsed acespec person and I love how you described that!
But yeah, brothers are just so much fun😂 I've got two, so i understand that.
Im glad you knew most of this, though! I find there's a lot of misconceptions around mental health and psychology that ive gotta fight against and that alone is exhausting lol.
Anyway, I am SO glad you're to the point of I-Dont- Care- About- Your- Opinion-Itis!! Reaching that point was a godsend for me, so I'm glad you have, too! It took a whole weight off my shoulders, that's for sure!!

Well, tonight was the first public reading... Guess who won first place in the 'Prose' category AND guess who is now (technically) a published author!!!!
AHHHHHHHH!!!!

Newsies hc
Albert is asexual, he doesn’t feel grossed out by the though of doing it, he just doesn’t feel any desire to do it. He figured this out by listening to his best friend (who has no sense of tmi) rant about what he would let spot conlon do to him.
I did mainly pull this from him saying “a leg of lamb” right before carrying the banner
