The Journey To Strait Teeth

-Ceramic braces on top teeth, metal on the bottom teeth -crowding -timespan is 8-12 months -a blog to keep all of the pictures organized

1-19-16 and they're off! so happy with the results.

12-1-15 power chains on top and bottom. got some mad hooks on the front four teeth so I have to wear a box pattern of elastics at night. they hurt like no other, but hopefully I'll get used to them soon. I have to continue with the L patter on both sides as well, only at night. next appointment in January, braces are coming off! seems like so far away...

10-21-15 four brackets were repositioned, bite blocks were removed, and stronger wires were put on. still have to wear rubber bands at night in the same pattern. the next appointment is in four weeks. it feels really strange because the brackets are different, and they're kind of tighter than usual.

This was between the changing of my wires. Thought it looked strange. It's been awhile since I've seen my teeth.

8-26-15 Hopefully getting close to the end. Got a full sized wire and have to wear an L shaped pattern of elastics at night. They don't feel so nice currently but hoping this will make my removal date come quicker.

6-30-15 This update is a painful one. Four new brackets were placed on my back teeth. I got a power chain on my uppers. I also have to wear a rubber band at night. To top it all off, fifteen minutes after leaving my orthodontists's office, one of my back brackets popped off, so we had to make a trip back up there. It'll be a painful couple of days.

I got my wires upped on the 29th. My mouth was sore for a few days, and they still feel a bit loose. I can definitely see a difference, and I’m excited for my teeth to be 100% straight!

3-25-15 The quality is horrible on these but what can you do? The pain was gone for awhile but for some odd reason multiple teeth have started hurting again. Yesterday it was my canine that is being pulled down, and today it's my bottom right teeth that are hurting quite bad. I can definitely see a change already even thought it's only been a month. I have an appointment to get new wires on April 29th.

2-24-15 The first picture with braces. It is very painful and I cannot eat solid foods. I just have to keep in mind that it means my teeth are moving. In the end it will all be worth it and I will finally have straight teeth!

This is the before picture. My teeth are extremely crowded in both the top and the bottom. I had braces when I was younger, but they were only on the top teeth and I was much too young.

Before I post the first picture, I would like to comment on the layout of this blog. It's absolutely ridiculous and doesn't match any of the content I'm going to be posting. But who the fuck cares?

I have only created this blog to be used as an online diary of my braces experience.  So I guess hi future me?
