Raising Confusion II Bradley & Open
âThat is true. But in the end, it would be nice to have an Alternate Universe where Harry and the crew didnât get into so much trouble, you know?â Harry pointed out and shrugged his shoulders a little. He would gladly have read a book just about their year at actual Hogwarts, rather than when they kept leaving school grounds to fight evil. But again, there wouldnât have been a book series of seven books if that had been the case. At least he doubted it very much. âI think it would suit you very well.â Harry told Bradley and laughed a little at the thought of him being dressed as the psychic teacher from the Potter books.
âFamily is what Christmas is really about.â Harry agreed with him and smiled some. He knew a lot of people celebrated it for the food and presents rather than family and friends â and the togetherness. He had never been able to understand why that was. âWhatâs the best thing youâve ever done over Christmas?â He asked Bradley curiously and looked at him. He smiled some when he looked at the houses at the street they had pulled into. He guessed it was the street where Bradley lived, but he didnât ask. He didnât mind how much longer they had to drive anyway, he was really enjoying the otherâs company. âThatâs true. Have you seen at Hamleyâs? Â you know the toyshop? They have like, fake snow that you can build snowballs with and all. I think you have to add like, water or something, but it doesnât have to be cold I donât think.â He explained. Â
"Perhaps, one day, Rowling will write something like that, where everyone is just happy all of the time. On second thoughts, though, I don't know if that would ever happen. As good of an author she actually is, I bet she's one of those authors that really thrives off the emotion pain of her fans." Bradley didn't know if he would prefer a series of books where the characters constantly suffered or one where they met no challenges at all. The challenges were what made the books realistic sometimes. "Well, that's my Halloween costume for next year sorted," Bradley joked, but considered that it may actually work out very well. Perhaps he would go for it.Â
"It's not really Christmas at all until you are surrounded by everyone who is important to you," Bradley remarked. He saw Christmas not only as a time to celebrate as a family, but also as a way of thanking and celebrating everyone around you, and the things they had done for you.  Bradley thought for a second, suddenly finding it difficult to pinpoint one specific memory. "Probably the Christmas after we moved back here after living in the USA, and we spent Christmas in London with all of my extended family. That was pretty special, I hadn't seen them in a while. What about you?" He asked as he pulled into his driveway, turning off the engine. "I didn't even know that stuff existed, but now you've told me that, I really want to visit. Do you think I'd get myself kicked out if I went and staged a massive snowball fight?â
