Learning to Sail !
Standing on the top of the tower and watching through the arrow slit I see a thousand ships on the river and heed the wind on black sails lift. Sailing on the waves of time and ever quenching the lust of wander Freedom from all calls and chimes, foot-loose upon the waters to ponder. I feel the draw of wild adventure as sure as sunrise at the dawn Embark upon this nomad’s venture by drowning deep in the ocean’s fawn.
Wishful Wishful
As i stare at this stony silence, that’s left for me today, to savour; Shuddering at the draught of, cold ice in your demeanor; We’ve been treading ever so lightly, baby steps on silver blue petals; Breathing the scent of passion, feelin so fine on strange levels. This heady new high is something, that we’ve seldom, seldom felt before. Why should it take just a lone match, to shatter this and cause a furore! As I stare at this stony silence, Dwelling on those moments with you; As i sit through this night and wonder - baby, whatever happened to you!
You
There I was, sitting in my solitude; When I heard them say – “It’s time you go”. With a lump in my throat, I bid to you; The most painful adieu, I ever knew. Now that I’m here, I feel so lost; Strange how things are, from where I was. I see many eyes shoot glare at me, Screaming out loud, “at once you leave”. As I march with all my might, At the farthest end, I see some light. Run is what I’m urging to, When I get there, Oh – I see it’s YOU! At first when I stole a glance at YOU, I knew what I felt was something new. Afraid I was to approach and talk, But I guess that’s how it is all at start. Days went by, but nothing changed; None but YOU, stayed away estranged. I wondered if, it’s something that I did wrong? Which kept you at bay, all along. Then came the time we shared a common stage, Knowing you more is what I did all day. Happy I was now, more than ever! I only wished if time just froze forever. The way you smile and the way you sound, Is the epitome of those that are heavenly bound. The way you walk and the way you sit, Makes even the angel from heaven envy every bit. Now that I know what YOU really are, I thank my stars for getting me this far. And all that is left to tell you now, Is that I really Like YOU, for what YOU are!
