Hey can I ask about your tag "nightingale and the rose"?

Its a reference to a Turkish fairy tale called the same name. The nightingale stole the heart of the rose,and as a result took her innocence. The rose was white to begin with,but out of her love for the nightingale turned pink, thus pink roses were born. And after, the nightingale stole the rose’s innocence and caused her to turn red from shame (or in others,red out of passion) and red roses were born.

“Though Allah had decreed that bird and flower should never mate,they overcame the odds.” is the last line of the story.

It has a hurtful end in some versions,where the rose falls out of love with the nightingale and she spurns his love, and he dies out of longing…

tbh I was working early on Sat / Sun but I went to bed the moment I got home. Working early is not fun when you’re sick,lemme tell u. But I’ll be okay now, I got some good rest yesterday and today! My fever is gone and I can concentrate on stuff now pvp

Taiyang laughed loudly at Qrow’s comment without really meaning to. He knew the other had a poor reputation at times, considering his drinking and reckless behavior, but Tai knew better than anyone that deep down, Qrow had one of the kindest hearts he’d ever known. 

Eyes widening, Tai let the other’s lips meet his own ever so briefly, the smell of lye and leaves left lingering in the fabric of Qrow’s coat. 

Biting his lip, Taiyang murmured, “ This is crazy. We shouldn’t — Well, it’s not that I don’t want to, it’s — The girls, and Signal, and — ”

Trailing off, Taiyang huffed, free hand moving to rest at Qrow’s hips, tugging him closer.

“ I guess I’m just nervous at the idea of this… really happening. ”

      -- He laughed. “I doubt they’d see us any different. Yang and Ruby are young,besides that. They want you just as happy as I do.” Qrow’s smile was tender, a rarity to some.

          Signal. The school’s name was turned over in his mind,like an object would be when one pondered about things in one’s head. It wasn’t anyone’s business who he was with. And if they kept their relationship - was this a relationship? He so hoped it’d go beyond this quaking,soft admission of love - away from their professional life,it would be okay.

          “I’m not letting go. Once I have my claws in you,you’re mine. I screwed up before, and it isn’t happening again.” Qrow was glad he was close, arms slithering around Taiyang and holding him tight.

Blissfully unaware of the thoughts that might just earn a blade to his gut, Winter narrowed her eyes at the tone he used. Did he know what was going on?

“That is none of your business,” she hissed. “And don’t call me princess.”

         “You seem frustrated,a rare thing. And I sure as hell didn’t do it.” Qrow reached up and tucked an errant lock of hair away from his eyes so he could see her better.
