Hey can I ask about your tag "nightingale and the rose"?
Its a reference to a Turkish fairy tale called the same name. The nightingale stole the heart of the rose, and as a result took her innocence. The rose was white to begin with, but out of her love for the nightingale turned pink, thus pink roses were born. And after, the nightingale stole the rose’s innocence and caused her to turn red from shame (or in others, red out of passion) and red roses were born.
“Though Allah had decreed that bird and flower should never mate, they overcame the odds.” is the last line of the story.
It has a hurtful end in some versions, where the rose falls out of love with the nightingale and she spurns his love, and he dies out of longing…
