The name is Cedar! I also go by Ced.

I’m a self-taught digital artist that mains in illustration, but I dabble in various other things. I make a lot of my own worlds and characters! World/character building is a huge comfort and I often find enjoyment in it. I currently work at a print shop as a graphic designer.

• Things I throughly enjoy are Omori, Welcome Home, The Magnus Archives, Rick and Morty, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, The Dragon Prince, High on Life, Superliminal, Inscryption, Minecraft, Subnautica, The Long Dark, Pokémon, Bee and Puppycat, Inside Job, B99, Beetlejuice, Mouthwashing, and more.

• Rabbit holes I enjoy falling down include true crime, ARGs, biology, ocean abyss research, phenomenons, writing, and random wikipedia pages that I stumble across. I’m a big nerd about sciencey stuff, though specifically astrobiology, ecology, and zoology. (If you couldn’t tell I like biology).

ComicFury is one of the only old school webcomic hosting sites still active, with seventeen years of putting its actual community of artists first, including such rarities as a no-ai policy and an active healthy forum with fair and clear moderation.

It's grown a lot in the past year and so needs have grown alongside it, so here I am doing the PBS Style donation drive post, lmao.

Never hurts to remind yourself that if you wouldn't say something to someone face to face, you shouldn't say it to them over the internet either.

Would you be this mean and vitriolic to someone in the same room as you? Even someone you didn't like?

Would you be this condescending or snarky to a classmate or a coworker?

Would you say something randomly overtly sexual to the person sitting next to you on the bus?

The people on the internet are all those same people. Don't feel free reign to treat them worse just because you can't see them. They can still see you, after all.

Just thought of something for those that saw my one thoughts on sweet pea/lich from adventure time

This time, I’ve been thinking about fern, thinking about him in general…thinking about a “what if” scenario again like I’ve been writing/thinking with murder drones

What if….it got reversed around a little, what if it was a finn who went to sleep to bring back prismo, what if it was a jake who had his soul put into a sword, same with the whole grass sword ordeal….

What if we got a jade instead of a fern?

We’ve seen how jake responds in the series to negative stimulus in the main series, just…what if?

A jake that sees his human brother of another mother…choose what he thinks is the fake…and to find out he is seen as the fake?

Imagine this jade crosses paths with the fern of the canon world and they tell each other stories, the small differences that made them come to be

Maybe in that moment, both would be back with the family they knew and everything felt just right.
