salieri: *composes an opera essentially saying “don’t be racist”*
the entire viennese opera scene:
I’m at my college’s cafeteria and I randomly heared a dude scream “NOOO!! PARALLEL FIFTHS!!!” at his notebook and if that doesn’t sums up the Majoring in Music experience I don’t know what does.
Is this… grand theft alto?
How did this get 176 notes?
I guess music puns just might be my forte.
the lesbian and gay big apple corps marching band and color guard performs walk the moon’s “shut up and dance” after the orlando vigil at the stonewall inn in nyc. the band had been playing more emotional pieces, but eager to find a moment of joy with their community after the incredible pain and sadness of the last two days, the crowd had demanded an encore performance.
It makes me feel good to see so much of the LGBTQIA community being able to come together like this still and refuse to let the hatred and bigotry out there win
The bigoted and hateful animals of this world will never stop us being who we are, celebrating together, being proud together <3
Look at all of these beautiful gay band geeks. <3
But seriously, I get really choked up about how LGBTQ folk are responding with bravery and joy in themselves, rather than just fear. Because it’s really understandable to be afraid after events like Orlando, not to mention in everyday life, when you’re openly queer. Coming together means making yourself part of a bigger target, and so it’s also an act of defiance. I worry a lot that we’ve lost a lot of the gains that were made since the 60s, but the very existence of groups like this comforts me, and gives me hope. I’m fiercely proud of them.
<3 At times like these it is SO IMPORTANT that we come together in love and support for each other like this and help each other and continue to celebrate who we are…and show that we are not going anywhere, that bigots will not stop us from being proud of being queer or trans or genderfluid <3
where can I find a gay marching band?

Someone made the mistake of letting me near a computer while I was listening to Tchaikovsky, so of course I made a meme.
It’s stuff like this that really makes me appreciate humanity as a whole
Maturity level: could barely keep it together When flute teacher said ‘you need to have a lot of air if you want to get that D’
This is making me so mad. Oh my god, I can’t.
If you don’t make futile attempts to learn pieces that are way above your skill level and weep at your own inadequacy are you even a musician
everyone should be rebloggin this

A perfect duet.
You will never escape this video as long as I am alive.
I’d care if the person I reblogged this from committed suicide.
NEVER. FUCKING. SCROLL PAST.
