           Everything was going and going FASTER than he expected. The blur of Gotham’s alleyways were cruel in their vastness and Junior could only hope to lose track of the woman tailing him for the past damn MILE now. What was up with these super-gal pals wanting him dead? He’d rather a dinner and movie, maybe even a little swooning here and there.

… But noooo.

           Instead, he’s crashing head first into someone and landing with back crunching effortlessly into wet asphalt. Cameron groans, lifts to sit up and blinks blearily towards the other boy ..  . the FLOATING boy. What? ( Pretty sure I’m not tripping right now. ) With little room to think, the blonde scrambles up to his feet, features encased in a hoodie with sparingly sharp ice collecting in the walls behind Cam in his wake. He plucks up a large messenger bag, secures it to his shoulder and peers at Klarion. “Dude, move! Super in-coming!” Reaching, the witch-boy is grabbed by his arms to float skyward with a push if all else fails. Human draw-bridge, up.

                                      Junior’s going to get his ass kicked. He can just FEEL it.

          even the response that he got wasn’t quite welcomed, what a horridly foul mouth the other had with the informal words that he spewed from his pale lips !! the witch wasn’t in the least even worried about what was going on with the other. before he could say anything the was grabbed and a hitched breath slipped past charcoal tinted lips, tensing up with the unexpected movement. his familiar made sure to leap onto him before he got too far, meowing, klarion nodding his head in agreement with what they were saying.

          “ you’re right teekl, this whole situation is messy, but we can fix that. ” the witch cooed, now opening up a red portal and being the one to drag the other through it. they would end up on the other side of gotham, outside of the range for whoever was chasing the male, could not end up quickly so they had time to lose their trail. sighing, klarion carefully floated back onto the asphalt and brushed himself off, puffing out a cheek.

          “ you should ask someone before you put your hands on them. ”

THE MAIDEN WITHOUT HANDS. a blunt axe.  a ring of chalk. tear-stained cheeks.  sweet pears.  hands tied behind back. shallow rivers. aching feet. walking for days. flowing gowns. liquid silver.  wax seals. blinding lights.

THE THREE LITTLE GNOMES IN THE FOREST. lukewarm bath water. sapphire butterflies. tiny milk snakes.  baskets of strawberries.  fat toads. sparkling snow.  fur cloaks. raw gemstones. kettles made of copper. red wine.  a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere.

BLUE BEARD. a tiny key made of gold.  pools of blood. stains that won’t rub away. galloping hooves. treasures from far away lands. dragged by the hair. dark and damp cellars. marble walls. shivering with fear. screaming at the top of your lungs.

THE SIX SWANS. sitting side-saddle.  daughter of a witch.  nettles. white feathers. refusing to smile.  needles and threads.  a castle in the forest.  sound of beating wings.  birthmarks.  climbing trees. balls of yarn.  silver crowns.

LITTLE RED CAP. wildflowers. rich-tasting cake. wicker baskets. the path rarely trod.  sharp teeth.  curtains drawn.  a dying fireplace.  grey pelts. red velvet.  handmade quilts. sunlight peeking through branches.  opening corks with a satisfying pop. looking someone directly in the eye.

                        he had a backpack over his shoulders as he was snooping through the bowels of gotham for hole in the wall witchcraft supplies. he was happy with his haul, a few new gems that were wrapped neatly into his bag. along with a few new bags to place his potpourris in since he was meaning to make a few more of those. teekl meowed as they walked, the witch boy speaking back and forth with his familiar, promising to get them whatever they wanted on the way home.

                        klarion was good at taking back paths to get back to the underdwellings that laid beneath gotham and to the area he made his home. but panicked when he ran into someone, falling backwards but catching himself before he hit the floor. he was floating mid air, backpack off of one of his shoulders but suspended and levitating just as himself. quickly getting back to his feet and returning from his little lift, the expression of the witch was frustrated as he eyed up the figure before him.

                          “ truly, you should watch where you’re going !! ”
