I balanced my checking account for the month. I try to check my account once a month to keep track of my expenses. I wasn’t happy to see a huge charge to my account that I was not expecting. I haven’t been on a date since May… it’s December. Why do I have to pay Match.com? Why do I have a profile on this site?

It is exciting to share a great date with a nice man. Getting flowers from a man is definitely a bonus. I want to date. My life at the moment is just not prepared for the decision making involved in dating. I have become such a gypsy.

I am making decisions on where to live and how to provide for myself. I am happy to have raised a family and have all my children living their personal best on their own. Now I am back to the beginning. I am on my own. The struggle for me is between enjoying my freedom and battling the loneliness. Don’t get me wrong, I never felt imprisoned by my marriage or children. The opposite is the truth. I held my life as mother and wife as defining and I am grateful for my search for my self at this point in my life. Raising a family so young was a huge benefit to my personal development. Where am I now in that development?

Being a mother to four children has given me this strong motto: Live your life as an example for your children. I want my children to live their life to the fullest. So, I work hard to live my life to the fullest. I have high expectations for my life. I am looking for the best place to live. Top quality for this life of mine because I already have a quality family that deserves the best example from their mom.

The men who have given me flowers are smart caring men. Maybe the timing wasn’t right or I was just not ready for their affection…. ok I know that I just haven’t found the right guy. I will continue looking for the one who meets my expectations.
