Was that [DAISY RIDLEY]? Oh no no, that was just [REY], a [CANON CHARACTER] from [STAR WARS]. They are [TWENTY-ONE] years old and [ARE] aware that they are not actually from Washington DC. Too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.
( * & // maggie ! *
it must have been nearly six months since maggie rhee had arrived in this version of washington d.c. while some might consider that allotment to constitute an extended period of time, the survivor did not. she found that time passed much quicker when one was not constantly struggling to survive– at least… when they were not doing so p h y s i c a l l y. and maggie knew that each breath that she took was chosen. that she could have easily decided to submit to the plethora of horrors that had not only consumed her surroundings, but that had come to dominate in her mind. but she was one of the lucky ones in this mystical place. she had family members here– hershel and enid most significantly. she had her children. and if maggie had her children, then she would find a way to make it through. she would grit her teeth and scream and bleed and claw her way towards contentment if she had to. the woman was always meant to RISE. during the present hour, enid had agreed to babysit her little brother, and maggie was headed to the library. she wanted to find a book on political theory that had been recommended to her. at first, her steps were measured, even slow. but suddenly, signs appeared along her route. and when she saw the first one, her heart leapt into her throat. maggie FROZE– the words that painted it reminded her of what she knew all too well. MAGGIE, go to TERMINUS. GLENN. GLENN! the sight of his name sent her running. running in the direction of where she knew– instinctively– that he would be. the WIDOW only halted when she saw him, crouched against the brick of the building. unintentionally, maggie announced her presence with a choked sob. it was a reaction rooted in her disbelief– in her disbelief that her fallen husband could truly be here. painting signs. looking for her. MAGGIE, I’LL FIND YOU. tears rushed to coat cheeks whose hues were paling in color quickly. maggie thought that she might faint. but she managed to choke out a single word– the only word– the only PERSON– who mattered right now. “g-g-glenn?”
@brckcnbones
at first, this all seemed like a dream, like a step backward in time. no sign of the infected, no sign that the world had gone to shit, but more importantly... there was no sign of his family. from the moment he opened his eyes, maggie was the only thing on his mind, the only thing he saw each time he closed them. was she okay? was she here? was she alive? the thought of her being anything but, tore him apart. no, maggie was strong, she was stronger than anyone else he had known-- she was okay, she h a d to be. the only problem was, he wasn’t sure how close or far she was in reality, but his heart? oh, his heart said that she was closer than he realized and he had to follow his heart. after all, it never steered him wrong, not when it came to her. so he would do what he knew best, he would leave clues, lead her to him until it worked, until she was finally in his arms again (right where she belonged). ‘MAGGIE, I’M HERE. -GLENN.’ said one message. ‘I’LL FIND YOU, I PROMISE. -GLENN.’ read another, there was at least seven in total-- how he managed to not get caught yet was beyond him, but this last one? this would be the one that brought her to him, of that he was sure.
‘I’M IN HERE. I’LL WAIT FOR YOU, ALWA-’ that was as far he got before he f e l t something, felt like he wasn’t alone; like eyes were on him. this was confirmed when he heard the sound of a sob emit from behind him, a sob that could only come from someone that had missed him as desperately as he missed them. slowly, he began to stand, legs shaking after he did so. was this real? was this actually heaven? the world was better now, and even more so, he knew when he turned around S H E would be there. his wife, his soul mate... his everything. then he heard her voice say his name and immediately, he knew this had to be heaven. turning around, his eyes instantly found her and welled up with tears. “m-maggie?!” his tone was determined, excited-- hopeful even and without a single hesitation, he ran towards her, tears slowly streaming down his face as his body gently collided with hers and his arms wrapped around her waist, lifting her up after he did so. “i knew it, i knew you were here--” he managed to say as he held on to her, sniffling as he buried his face in the crook of her neck. “never again, i’m never losing you again.” glenn whispered, his words slightly muffled before he pulled back to look at her, exam her features, his hands cupping his face in the process. “are you safe? the baby... where’s our baby... and enid? rick? is everyone okay?” he finally asked all the questions that flooded into his mind once he saw her, once he knew she was there and with him once again.
( * & // steve ! *
he was still adapting to life, he loved his job as a little league coach but sometimes, he just needed some time to himself. that was until he made time to himself and was bored out of his mind. so - he hit the local bar, hoping to actually make some friends that way; since he missed the ones back in hawkins. cigarette in hand as he stood outside in the fresh air, sighing before disposing of it and walking inside, the roaring music and sound of laughter filling his ears as he stood by the bar, making conversation with the first person he saw, with a lighthearted joke, or reference to pop culture as if he wasn’t some old man in a twenty year olds body. “how about that minnie mouse huh? she’s still cool like…60 years later huh?”
glenn, despite not being much of a drinker unless there was a reason to celebrate, couldn’t help finding his way to the place that seemed to be bursting with life. it had been so long since he had seen something like this, such normalcy. it almost didn’t seem real, in fact, he was almost convinced it wasn’t. finding himself at the bar, he requested nothing more than a cup of water (after all, he had zero funds to his name at the moment) before he was approached by someone who barely looked old enough to be in here. at the strangers' question, glenn’s brows furrowed before he leaned in a bit. “uh, are you even old enough to be in here man? how much have you had to drink?” typically he wouldn’t ask or care, but the rules here seemed different, the world seemed alright again and even if this was some crazy coma dream, he still wanted to make sure this kid was okay. “not sure though, last i checked it was all about blue’s clues and dora the explorer.” okay, so maybe they were both pretty outdated, but that didn’t matter right now.

48: Glenn Rhee (The Walking Dead)
Was that [STEVEN YEUN]? Oh no no, that was just [GLENN RHEE], a [CANON CHARACTER] from [THE WALKING DEAD]. They are [TWENTY-SIX] years old and [ARE] aware that they are not actually from Washington DC. Too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.
( * & // dolphin ! *
It was dark, and Dolphin had lost her phone god knows where, but luckily it didn’t seem that many people were around. Eyes darting around where she was, she let her hand begin to glow as she finally found it next to her. It wasn’t that she was scared of people discovering what she could, but it was the fact that people could persecute her. ‘Fuck yeah’ she signed before hearing a noise and quickly looking towards where it came from. ‘Hello?’ she typed out, wondering how she missed someone near her.
karen had been suspicious of this place from the moment she arrived. nothing felt right but leaving felt wrong as well. she missed hell’s kitchen, missed her friends. perhaps that was why she found herself walking around at night, aimlessly, hoping to find familiarity in the dark corners of this strange place. however, what she found instead, was a girl; but this girl seemed like she had more to her than what appeared. karen wouldn’t pry though, at least not yet. “sorry,” she began as she stepped forward. “i’m kinda lost, serves me right for deciding a walk was a good idea at this time.” she chuckled a bit.
( * & // landon ! *
nowadays could landon be found with a notebook & a book in his lap. he tried to search after more information about what a phoenix could do. at the sound of footsteps the young male looked up “hey, i apologize if i am bothering you. i just have to ask— do you know anything about supernatural creatures?” if they wondered why he wanted to know he could just say it was for an essay. he didn’t want to start explaining why he needed to know. all he wanted to know for now was if they knew something about the phoenix, if there was anything special about them.
after everything that had happened, hannah wanted answers, wanted to understand why that curse came, why it was still there and why she could still feel the wendigo within her-- like it was clawing to get out and reclaim her if she didn’t do something about it. or maybe she was just paranoid? terrified of what could happen if it ever came back. as she flipped the page in her book. she was caught off guard by the other’s voice, eyes widening a bit before she slammed her own book shut. “who, what-- me? no, no way. why, did you hear something?” yes, definitely paranoid.
( * & // alexander ! *
“i think i need to sleep…or i think i need more coffee. you got any coffee?” alexander looked up, hair wild and bags under his eyes as he blinked at the other. “and food. some of that greasy stuff. i’ve been writing all night and i don’t see myself slowing down so i need a boost and it’s down to you.”
“oh my, would ya look at that, fresh out of coffee. i do, however, have a comfy blanket and a pull-out bed in the couch that you are free to claim. your body looks like it is begging for rest, pal.”
