I can’t wait to provide them with a comfortable healthy environment, where they can live completely carefree and enjoy their childhood without any toxicity, abuse or strange energies. I want my children to know that me and my partner will support them wholeheartedly and that they can come to us for anything without feeling nervous, afraid of ashamed.

Hi everyone!! Back after 3 years... so much has changed, can't believe how fast time went by.

Updates:

Graduated Nursing School in 2016

Med-Surg Nurse 1 year and counting..about to change specialities in the next 6 months after my contract is up.

Still no baby BUT we are officially trying.. I was reading back on my blog and saw that we (more like I) was hoping to start trying for a baby in 2015. But my have things changed. Feels good to know that we are BOTH wanting this and not just me.

Moved away from Hawaii, now in Washington

Bought a house

Just loving the life that I am living and ready to settle down.

Hi! I work at a mental health clinic and we have already started using this movie to help kids identify feelings and work on controlling them! We have action figures so that non verbal kids can still show us what feelings they are having. This movie really is revolutionary for mental health services everywhere!

Do any Army S.O.’s know if your S.O. is required to take vacation during Christmas time? My BF’s BMT is supposed to end around December. If they are not required too, what will they be doing? Would we be able to spend much time together?

Boyfriend just signed for Army and his ship date is October 5th!

I’m sad that he's leaving but happy that he's getting the job that he's wanted. I’m overall just kinda nervous about the whole process..

A few things I’m confused about... 

1) Does Basic have a graduation? If so, how do I know when if he's not able to call or anything?

2) If Basic does have a graduation... do they have 2?

 Can anyone give me info about this?

Magic Mountain Lodge This hotel is located in Huilo Huilo, a Natural Reserve in Chile. The rustic appearance ends with the exterior however, as the interiors are done up in luxury. There are only 9 rooms, named after bird species found in the area. Each of them overlooks the thick forest and wildlife outside. Guests even get a glimpse of a real-life volcano from the hotel. Hot tubs made out of huge tree trunks, overlooking the forest are a major tourist attraction at Magic Mountain, as is the world’s longest zip line running through the grounds.

need some insight from you military wives please...

So basically my boyfriend is wanting to go into the army. He’s taking baby steps. However something that worries me the most is the living situation. Currently I am a nursing student and we are planning on moving after I graduate. So in about 13 months. In order for us to live together when he’s in the military, we have to be married right? So here’s the questions, when you S.O. went into the military, were you already engaged or married? and if you weren't married, how long was the process for you folks to get housing/live together?

IF YOU’RE STUDYING CARDIOLOGY, LEARN THIS CHART

One of my study partners came up with this for our cardio exam. Since it was about 20% valvular disease, it saved my ass. 

As a brief explanation, A = Aortic valve, P = Pulmonary valve, M = Mitral valve, T = tricuspid valve. It pairs up if a murmur is systolic or diastolic and associated with stenosis or regurgitation of a particular valve.

Happens to work out that Aortic & Pulmonary stenosis are both Systolic Ejection murmurs, Mitral & Tricuspid Regurgitation are both Holosystolic murmurs and both Mitral & Tricuspid Stenosis both can occur as a result of Rheumatic Fever. 

There’s obviously way more to know for each of these conditions, but for someone who was mixing them up as bad as I was this turned out to be immensely helpful. Happy Studying!
