Struggling with my emotions: Milso life

So I’m 6 months into a relationship with my boyfriend who just graduated basic training with the army. He is now stationed in Kansas and I feel right now at this current place in time, that I maybe wasn’t prepared for how much this hurts. I’m convincing myself that he doesn’t want to talk to me as much as I want to talk to him even though he calls me his soulmate and he loves me. I’m struggling to adjust to this life and I just need some reassurance.
