Since becoming a preschool teacher I feel like I have kids again! I’m always looking for deals for my kids to enjoy while in my classroom. I think the hardest thing has become holding back from buying every kids toy/activity/furniture/ clothing I see. I even had a mother jump my case for buying for my kids, she said “that’s what we are here for” “btw she’s one on of my favorite families” “❤️”
When my first child was born, well before she was born she had just about every Dr.Suess, Little Golden Books”, I could find.
My mother Sandra Haslett and I went to yard sales just about every weekend. My daughter had more clothes before she was BORN than Elizabeth Taylor. It was a sea of PINK!! My best friend Jennifer told me I needed to put her goddaughter in some other color than pink. The very next day she comes over and she hands me a cute blue overall type outfit, so I happily take it and hung it up in my daughters closet.
It looked like a pink and blue Oreo.
So I never bought her a pink outfit again, it was always different, bright, dark, earthy, whatever but it was never pink again. ❤️ 💜
