Literally idc if people wanna write fun mansion head-canons for pastas. I loved that shit too once. My tastes now have changed for things more grounded, but I’m not trying to harp on anyones fun.
My problem comes when those who like things more ‘vanilla’ in the fandom try to accuse other creators of ‘normalizing’ or ‘romanticizing’ or ‘fetishizing’ things like rape or sa, let alone going as far as to say fan writers are the ones allowing abuse to continue in community over their works content. Especially when many of us creators are abuse survivors ourselves. It’s really the pot calling the kettle black.
I mean, you guys know things like murder and violence are also permanently traumatizing and scaring people irl? Right? Why is gruesome violence the exception, like violence and self harm is honestly itself kinda glorified in these spaces, No? But it’s the squeamishness at writers expressing other trauma like sa that always get’s called fetishization.
You know what I have yet to hear? Someone raping someone in the name of reliving a creepypasta they read.
Wanna know what has happened? Two girls attempting to KILL another one because they were obsessed with the escapist fantasy of a Slender Mansion that takes in misfit kids, misfit kids who get to kill their (underage) bullies. The lighthearted take of extreme violence like mass murder that this fandom has, has in my opinion caused more harm than the writers who try making things more grounded to reality and criminal psych.
Genuinely, fuck you if you try telling other creators, who ourselves are csa and heavy child abuse/neglect victims, that we are perpetuating our very traumas by being realistic with writing violence in fiction. Trust me, it’s not the creators who like grounded horror who normalize rape. It’s the people who treat any violence as just a haha quirky thing because anything else is too uncomfortable.
The discomfort to honest portrayals of preparation and victimization is often what allows those very things to continue, not the media of which discusses such topics rawly.

I really think we should stop saying "kid-friendly" and start saying "ad-friendly". We shouldn't indulge these companies and their excuses anymore. I also think that continuing to pretend that this is about "protecting the children" pushes a lot of the blame onto kids and teens, who don't have the political power to push through any of this censorship legislature. Corporations and governments are to blame.

MAP here, I completely agree with you. Radqueer ideology itself promotes respecting and accepting these kind of predatory people. You will get called a "fakerad" for refusing to be content with pro-contact people. The community itself is built on unstable foundation, and it's no surprise they're slowly ripping apart. How do they believe they are so sure into paint my support for the unsupported as evil or a bad thing? What is so bad that i stand up and choose to be a voice for others because i never had a voice to stand up for me? Don’t they know constantly dehumanizing and fear mongering the disabled or sexually outcasted just makes them more prone to behave in dangerous behavior? Restricting public education and support causes more problems, dont they know that?
The feeling of being alone is the worst feeling in the world, i do not want others to suffer the same fate as i did when i was a kid. Being a minor with an open paraphilic disorder was genuine hell, not because i was preyed on or fell into bad groups, but because of the abuse and bullying and hate i faced. So much overwhelming harassment for essentially no reason. I was not afraid to speak for myself then, so im not afraid now. Me growing up means absolutely nothing or erases my experiences and goals.
I will forever advocate and support all kinds of necrophiles, big and small. In my heart i know its right, if you think im a creep for believing minors with paraphilic disorders and attractions exist (they literally do, i was one and met others my age the same way) and deserve as much support as the adult paraphiles, then so be it. i turned public about my paraphilic identity at around 13 or 14 once my groomer leaked our dms painting me as evil (they all fell for it of course) to avoid getting these shitty callout posts on me, i was open about who i was so nobody felt like their boundaries were being crossed by unknowingly interacting with a paraphile, i made them KNOW who i was for my safety, and their safety. In fact i believe its more safer and honest to be public about paraphilic disorders as once i did this when i was a kid, my internet drama drastically dropped because i kept no secrets. I still keep no secrets. Im open, honest and not ashamed to be me. Ive learned this behavior as a kid because you FORCED me too to keep myself safe from your bullying and predatory bullshit.
I have a right to be open about who i am so people grossed out dont fuck with me, and i happily dont have to interact with them, its a relationship that should be a mutual understanding but fuckfaces invade my space and try to piss all over a completely safe space i made myself because todays internet culture made them unlearn the magic act of MINDING YOUR BUSINESS. I could name so many minors who got “exposed” for being paraphiles (all private stuff by the way) and were severely abused on the internet for it by people legit double their age, i was one of them! you CANNOT argue minors with paraphilias are a danger to themselves when YOU are the ones putting them in danger dude!

Ironically enough bullies and antis just made me so desensitized to their bullshit its impossible for me to feel anything from it other than slight annoyance, i would compare it to like flies. Such a small thing easy to get rid of but you acknowledge its there and they exist and will always be there. but like at the same time who cares. just a fly. it cant harm you that much.
Ive been pushed to basically feel zero shame or care for anything internet drama related really, ive come to realize that none of this even ever mattered and isnt an actual real issue. Those constantly wanting to cyberstalk and harass me cant really do anything to me outside of the internet and that is their weakness. They WONT do anything outside of the internet because they are somehow more trapped into it than i am. Its just so embarrassing. as for your situation, if you want to keep your alt art lowkey, go by a different alias and use DIFFERENT platforms you already have on your mains, it lowers the risk of you being discovered by people you dont want to discover it if you truly care and want to be anonymous. In the long run, reputation doesnt matter dude. Animate and draw what you want. This shit internet culture after covid just cemented itself that social medias are some sort of lifeline, a competition, and something to be taken away as punishment and its weird as fuck.
