And so, my followers and friends, we reach a point of both ending and beginning.
i am sure that by now Y/you all know the situation vis a vis Tumblr’s recent decision which will end this blog in this forum. In this moment of transition, i feel compelled to state without reservation that over the years that i have served as chronicler of these humble pages it has been my honor to explore the permutations of Dominance and submission with all of Y/you members of this community of the like-minded that W/we have managed to carve out for O/ourselves on this platform. Indeed let none suggest that it is anything less than that; a community greater than the sum of its constituent parts.
Through this blog i have interacted with more thoughtful, intelligent, and wonderfully kinky people than i ever imagined was possible. i have made friends here, i have grown here, and, through my interactions with Y/you all, my wonderful beautiful community, my understanding of D/s and my own submission has grown more complex and nuanced as i have been able to challenge my own preconceptions on the subject and those of others. For this, and for spending some modicum of Y/your time on my musings in these pages, i thank Y/you all from the bottom of my heart.
But. alas, all that begins must, at some point, end. The powers that be those that are so blinded or prejudiced against that which they deem prurient to see the beauty of O/our community, have seen fit to decree that this B/brotherhood that W/we have so painstakingly built across miles, borders, and cultures must be exiled from this platform; swept way as though it were mere filth. i have not the patience nor the time for a place where i and those like me are not wanted. So, i must go. i leave for what i hope shall one day evolve into greener pastures and i urge, with whatever strength my words may wield, that others do the same.
my Sir @betabreeder and myself will be moving to bdsmlr. At the moment its non-hetero content is limited but W/we hope to change this as W/we, and hopefully O/our followers, move on from this place which through its recent actions has proven itself unworthy of U/us.
To know Y/you all has been a pleasure, to produce content that Y/you enjoy and which hopefully provokes thought has been a true joy. With a teary eye i bid Y/you all, adieu.
