We are very sad to make this post so soon, but unfortunately, our idea didn’t have as much interest within the rpc as we had hoped. Although we’re passionate about what we’ve created, now does not seem to be the right time or format to bring it to life. are there reasons why you don't accept certain people? i just know from the past that sometimes it feels so subjective to acceptances. i don't want to write out a full app if it might just be turned away 😔

The only main reasons we wouldn’t accept an application is if it weren’t filled out correctly/completely, if the bio doesn’t really tell us anything about the character, or the obvious reason that there were multiple applicants ! applicants are always welcome to discuss what needs changing on the app to re-apply if the character is still available !

two questions! what do you mean by connections and aesthetics? i got stuck on those two parts of the application and i'm a little confused.

I can definitely help with that ! So for the connections, we are looking for 3 various kinds of people in your character’s life you’d like to see that leave open the possibility of plotting with others in the group. Some examples I’ve seen are a childhood best friend, an ex-partner, a rival based on their occupation, etc. Then just give us a brief sentence or two on what that connection looks like (i.e. for a childhood best friend: someone they met as children and befriended instantly, but as they got older they grew apart and are now reconnecting). 

For aesthetics, you can have some fun with this one. What kind of images do you see when you think of your character? If they are an artist who gets lost in their work for example, maybe something like “paint stained jeans”, or if they love nature you could use something like “picnics in a field of flowers”. Something that really brings out the essence of who your character is.

EMMA FLURRY

Biography: Emma Flurry better known as simply ‘Flurry’ has always been a kind-hearted outspoken sort of girl. The type who always stood up for what she believed in even at the cost of popularity among her peers in the small town she grew up in. Flurry held herself as a the resident ‘anti-bully defense squad’ in school. Though she stood up for many of her fellow students she didn’t gain many friends. As most of the bullies she stood up against were from families of wealth or high social standing in her small town, so siding against them meant siding against many of the most influential people in town. Flurry didn’t care as her family had always taught her it was more important to stand by ones own beliefs rather then to side with the popular opinion. However this, along with Flurry’s family’s poor income, made her the target of bullying for the entirety of her school years.

Flurry wasn’t entirely friendless though. She made friends online, they may have lived miles away but Flurry was closer to them then she ever was with any of the others near her. Wherein those that knew her in reality didn’t seem to care for her interests, those online happily listened and conversed with her. Online her interests were supported by more then just her family, she had people complimenting her costumes, makeup and reviews. She had people actively seeking out her opinions on certain games, shows and anime. Soon enough she was making money off the vlogs and cosplay pieces she created. She never expected to become popular from her online presence, she never expected to become popular period. Yet even people around town were starting to be nicer to her and recognize her from her presence online.

That didn’t stop her from moving towns as soon as she was done with high school however. As much as Flurry loved her family and she said she forgave her school bullies, she felt it was a time for a change of scenery. Which is why she packed up her things and moved to Breezy Hollow. Flurry felt another small town would be the perfect fit for a fresh start to the world for her and so far it has been. She’s only been there for about six years but she’s felt right at home amongst the other citizens. Not to mention the little town setting makes for great cosplay backdrops in pictures or videos!

CONNECTIONS:

Roommates - 0/3: Flurry may be a popular vlogger but vlogging only pays so many bills. Which is why she decided to move in with some roommates when she came to Breezy Hollow. It’s not uncommon to find her wandering the house in her cosplay pieces or staying up at any odd hour of the night. But she always does her best to be a considerate roommate.

Online Enemy - OPEN: Another popular online presenter who Flurry finds herself constantly clashing with. No one really knows why they clash, maybe it’s because they post similar things or maybe because they don’t post similar things at all. Maybe it’s because this person reminds Flurry of her childhood bullies. Who can say? Well only Flurry and her enemy can say for sure.

Infatuation - OPEN: Flurry is a sucker for romance, ever since she was young she’s found herself falling head over heels for most anyone nice to her. This muse just happens to be the latest in a long list of crushes Flurry has had over the years. If she could convince herself to tell them of her feelings perhaps more could come from this then just an infatuated crush.
