I'm avidly against and annoyed by the New Years posts about how great the new year is gonna be etc etc butttttttt I wish 2016 had died instead of so many of my friends and family members. Rest In Peace 2016, though you don't deserve it.
I hate the end of the year crap about how it was horrible and how the new year is gonna be THE year but damn 2016 was rough and I can't wait for it to be over

Yes, slowly pull into the lot and park next to me. You glance at me as you exit your truck and slowly walk to the door to read the giant sign that says CLOSED. As if you couldn't read or simply didn't believe the signs Zeus so clearly laid out for you, you pull the handle. Nothing. The door doesn't budge. CAUSE WE ARE CLOSED SUCKER.
It's fucking embarrassing to live here. It is. And it doesn't even begin to be enough, but to the rest of the world I am just so fucking sorry. I do not hate you. Most of us do not hate you. But how could anyone believe that when we just elected Donald Trump to be our "leader"? It's so gross and if there is anything in my life that I've not been able to fathom, THIS IS IT!

my anxiety is me drawing up and framing a picture as a gift for someone but being afraid to give it to them because it assumes they even want it or that they will like it, and they probably won't because why would they? my anxiety is wanting more than anything to be around my friends but not being able to do so for long periods of time because I can't stop wondering what's wrong with me, if I said that word weird, if what I plan on saying is useful, and all sorts of incredibly stupid shit. My anxiety is sometimes sitting in the car a good ten minutes before convincing myself to get out and go into the store. I can barely handle social interactions. I hate taking my dog out if someone is outside because they'll probably want to pet her or because I'm worried that person will notice me, which shouldn't even cause me any discomfort. I'm a person; I exist. I get anxious about the next time I'm going to get anxious and why. I get anxious about feeling stupid for being anxious. My anxiety gives me anxiety and this is just something I needed to post for myself.
When I left McDonald's in north Adams everyone said "you'll be back everyone always comes back" Well. Nope.
