What's your favorite part about your muse? What drew you towards Brent instead of any other Infamous character?

// back when i first made this blog (in mid april of last year), we knew absolutely nothing about brent, we knew what he did for his sister and made a huge sacrifice to protect his sister’s freedom. i relate to my muse on a level where we were both addicts and have given up a hell of a lot for the people we care about. What I wanted to do was delve into the past and slowly discover things about the siblings and breaking my heart in the process.homelessness, the constant threat and fear for safety, drug abuse, stepping on others to get back up from rock bottom are all things I’m familiar with, some to a small extent while others I’ve spent years and almost a lifetime dealing with.

also the main thought in my head was “i wonder how much angst i can i cook up” but man, you have no idea what kind of positive effect this muse alone had on me (but that’s because most of my other muses aRE PIECES OF SHIT)

She was more than glad to wrap her arms around him in return, tucking her head under his chin. “I missed you so much… ‘m sorry I didn’t call…” Piper whispered, peeking up at him. “I thought they’d come after you..”

"Yeah, sure thing." He said, slowly wrapping his arms around her, holding her tight. "You could've called." He sighed with relief, finally being able to hold her. The man couldn't blame her for what she did, it's not like he was any different, but he felt better knowing that she was here. With him.

If they believed him then he shouldn’t let them down, “Alright,” His voice wasn’t that strong, but it was better than before, “I’ll do it,”

He wasn't lying when he said that it was his crew before it was him. Of course it was usually Fetch, and then his crew, and then it was him. The adrenaline from the jump would teach the new shipmate what it mean to be like one of them. A pirate in the high skies with their sails in the atmosphere. Brent simply wanted him to know how amazing it would be if he just let that little bit of fear go. "A whole new world opens up, right there in fron' of ya. Just can't wait for you to see it is all."

Delsin nods as best he can. He honestly didn’t know what he wanted. He wanted the pain to stop. But he also didn’t want to be addicted anymore. After telling Fetch and seeing his devastated face, it kind of just sunk in that this was bad. The student had done some fucked up shit in his life, but never before was drugs a thing. He wanted to change for Abel, for Reggie, for Brent, himself, get it done and over with.

”I-I’m real-ly cold,” He looks up at the other, silently begging for him to help. Maybe another blanket. Something hot. Delsin figured B would know what to do, he had to. Closing his eyes tightly, Delsin tried to will away the headache forming, shrinking back into the blankets.

Brent looked at the conduit, knowing exactly what it was like to be in that position. stuck between right and wrong-- and not knowing what to do about it. The needs versus the will to stop the destruction that was heeding way, but sometimes... sometimes it just didn't work that way. He let out a soft sigh and nodded, acknowledging the fact and taking the freezing fingers in his warm hands to work of defrosting them. All that mattered now was that Delsin was as comfortable as possible and for this kind of cold, blanket just don't work. The older male joined him on the couch, pulling him up towards him, placing the other's head on his chest and laying on the couch.

"I got you." He muttered, "Does that feel better?"
