Request: can you write an imagine where you are a Deven student and Jackson Whitemore, your best friend since he has moved to Deven instead of London, and And he figures out that you have a crush on Brett, even probably taunting you with it (maybe like he did with dany/Matt), then Brett who was listening the whole time because of his werewolf hearing (the two of you didn’t know he is actually a werewolf) and ask you out or kiss you. Something with a lot of fluff :-P sorry if it’s kind of long And my English is so so bad :-/
First off THANK YOU. I love this damn idea.
You sat as quickly as you could at the lunch table Jackson sat at. He didn't bother greeting you since he knew it was you, and only you. Jackson Whitemore moved to Devenford Prep a couple of months ago. This was causing an uproar in the lacrosse games.
Beacon Hills High wanted nothing more from Jackson than to quite playing lacrosse all together. But Jackson didn't take to kindly to having someone tell him what to do.
You dug into the homework you had for History next. Making sure the final details were correct. "Are you practicing today?" You asked not looking up from your paper.
"Yeah, coach here tells me I could very well be Captian." Jackson chewed loudly, causing you to give him an unbelieving look.
He didn't bother looking at you as he wolfed down his lunch. "Not everything is about being captian. You could be in tha back having fun, making plays. Doing it for the sport." You shrugged lightly when his slitted eyes bore right at you.
"Is that a joke?" He asked in a clipped tone. You wanted to laugh at the thought of his ego being bruised.
"Jackson, shut the fuck up. Listen, some times it's better to be in the background of things. Sometimes it's better if you don't take so much pride in having to be popular.
"Don't come to my practice today if you think I shouldn't try for captain y/n." Jackson said defensively.
You rolled your eyes already used to his little dramatic outbursts. "Ok first I'm sorry." Jackson visibly stiffened causing you to slow down. Your eyebrow shot up, as you continued. "Second I think you can do just about anything. Jackson we're best friends, I know you could be captain." Jackson face turned to something more somber. He looked down at the lunch table you were at.
"Maybe you shouldn't go for another reason." He said almost bitterly. You furrowed your brow. Not understanding why the sudden change.
"Why? Jackson I really didn't mean anything by that. I just thought you could have more fun here if you laid back." You began explaining further.
"No y/n that's not what I mean." He looked right at you. Showing you it was ok, and to just listen. "I'm talking about that damn," he snarled out, "Brett Talbot thinking it's okay to just check you out like that. Doesn't he know who you are?" I saw the way Jackson's eyes looked just past me.
I turned around seeing the tall lean man looking over at me with a sweet smile. Brett mouthed 'Hi' and made you blush. You turned around quickly feeling a little hot. "Whatever Jackson. You're more upset in the fact that he's the captain and he's not gonna make this easy for you."
"Damn right. But he's not saying hi to me like that so maybe this might be to my advantage." Jackson smirked chugging the rest of his water.
You scoffed, "What the hell are you talking about?"
Jackson smiled brightly at you. "I mean the fact that you two obviously are thinking more of each other than just the high school thing." Jackson put his chin in his hand, "In fact I think this is more than a crush for the both of you. It's cute really y/n, the way you act like you want to be his partner in physics. Or how you go to practice to watch me."
You felt light a heater in the middle of winter. "I don't know what you're saying Jackson. As a matter of fact I think you've lost you damn mind. Maybe you should shut up and do us both a favor by not embarrassing yourself." You looked down and began picking at your plate of lunch.
Jackson laughed loudly. "Y/n don't think I don't notice the way you perk up when I mention him. The other day in practice you didn't even hear me talking to you, you aere ogling him so hard." His smirk rose, as did your temperature.
"Shut up Jackson!" You yelled feeling even more embarrassed now. He went too far. Teasing you is okay, but pushing this subject when you ask him not to is not. You began gathering your stuff quickly. You didn't bother to throw away your lunch tray. "I'll see you after school." You said hit jinn you bag up your shoulder.
You made sure not to look at Brett or you might turn into a tomato. You knew Jackson pissed you off sometimes and all it took was to get away from the situation. All it would take 5- 10 minutes of being away from Jackson and you'd cool down. After all your afternoon classes you were more than ready to see Jackson again. So you were off to practice to wait for him. You sat on the bleachers and relaxed out for a slight tan. You had taken your uniform off and changed into something more sun appropriate.
You looked around seeing the bleachers occupied by everyone else's friends, and girlfriends. Jackson had told you that kids at Becaon Hills High would do the same too. You perched your sunglasses on your face causing you to be able to stare at Brett all you wanted.
You sighed heavily, feeling Jackson's words come back at you. You thought you were careful in your silly little crush. This whole time you were so damn careful not to fall for this guy! "Y/n!" Your head snapped, and you saw Jackson motioning you down towards the field.
You got your things and rushed down. Jackson didn't even bother looking at you, as he grabbed your arm and pulled you away. You felt the urgency in his pace, and his breathing. You both made it to his car, and got in without a word. Jackson slammed his door, causing you to jump. He peeled out of the schools parking, and you felt like your seatbelt might not be enough to hold you down.
Getting to your conservative neighbourhood, Jackson slowed the pace of his car. Not a single word had been spoken yet, but you could tell he was a lot calmer. Getting to your house Jackson put the car in park and waited for you to get out. You reached for the door handle and pushed it open. "Are you gonna tell me?" You asked looking back at him hoping that he might just give in.
His face was blank, and set striaght. "I guess that's a no."You got off the car, and looked back in. "Call me when you want to talk." You shut the door carefully. He waited there while you made your way to your front door.
****
"Y/n!" You heard your mother yell through your door. You got up and looked at your clock. 9:43, and you looked down at your skimpy little pajama shorts and tank. You shrugged since it was obviously Jackson. Opening the door your mother looked you up and down. "Honey put a sweater on." She began walking away.
You grabbed the sweater hanging on your desk chair and threw it on, while walking down the stairs. You saw your family still up and about some watcghing TV, and others in the kitchen.
You got to the front door and pulled it open revealing a surprised looking Brett. "What the hell?" You asked while pushing him out onto your porch. You closed the door behind you and you sized him you. "Brett what are you doing here?"
He looked down at you, and licked his lips in a nervous manner. You realized what you were wearing and wanted to die. You grabbed the edges of your sweater and pulled across your body. "I wanted to make sure that you were okay." He said looking you right in the eye.
You motioned to your entirety. "I'm fine thanks. Now why are you here at 10 at night?" You moved to lean agiant the porch railing.
"I-I-I wanted to see you after today." He shoved his hands in his pockets. Also he studderd... which was too adorable. "After what happened at practice."
Your eyes brows shot up, and you leaned far back on the railing. "What happened?" You looked past him to threw the big picture windows. Your family was doing the same things as before.
He shoved a hand roughly threw his hair and looked away. "I just wanted to say sorry about Jackson and I difdn't want to hurt him. I was just trying to play the game."
Your mouth cracked open slightly. What the hell...? "You mean why he left practice all pissed off today?" You asked not knowing what else he could be talking about.
"Yeah, did he hurt you?" He asked coming closer to you and looking down at your arm. You could feel yourself wanting to squirm under his gaze. You nodded not willing to use your voice. "He looked like he had a pretty good grip on you. Nothing your used to I'm sure?"
His gaze held malice, and acusing. You looked at your arm, resolve set in. You took your sweater off exposing your arms. The skin looked luminous under the moons glow. No bruise in sight. "Are you trying to acuse Jackson of hurting me?" You looked right into his eyes. You felt like you wanted to scream. "Jackson my be rough around the edges but he's never hurt me. Were best friends and I know how he gets, but he would never hurt me."
Brett's hands made there way to your skin. Making it feel like you had static running around you. You watched his hand slowly inch it's way up your arm. Brett sighed. "I'm sorry y/n, I didn't mean to offend you." He whispered out. "I just got super pissed to see him manhandling you like that."
Soon you realized how close he was to you. And that even in shorts and tanktop you felt like you were left out on a 100 degree day. Brett's body so close to yours had you feeling like you had heat stroke. "Brett I'm going to ask you one more time, and don't lie to me. Why did you come to my house?"
He smiled palyfully and brought the back of your knuckles to his lips. He left fether like traces on your hand. "I wanted to know if you left the lunch room becuase of me. Why you didn't say hi back." He got closer and you could feel the jeans of his legs on yours. He got super close to you, bending over. A glimer in his eyes. "If you blushed becuase of me."
You just nodded. You didn't know what to do. Even though he was moving at a turtles pace, you felt like you were running a marathon. Brett laughed lightly. "Good." He nodded, smiling down at you. "There was one other thing, I wanted to ask." A smirk played at the corners of his lips. He poked you cheek, and arms. "Are you always this hot? Or is it just me?"
You gulpped down hoping it would help you speak. "B-B-Brett. Please for the love of god stop teasing me." You felt yourself want to pushback. Was he just palying with you? Why now?
"Okay I'll stop. On one condition." He pulled his face back. He serched your eyes for any resistance. "If you'll be my girlfriend?"
You felt your knees lock, and like you were going to pass out. Holy hell, Brett Talbot just asked you out. You couldn't even behgin to think of how red you were. "Okay." You nodded, "But only under one condition." You spoke back in what felt like a low whisper. Brett perked up, waiting for you to finish. "You have to kiss me so I know you're not faking."
Brett leaned down and looked worridly at you. His index finger glided across you forehead, and tucked stray hairs behind you ears. "I'm not joking y/n." He kissed the corner of your mouth. "I wouldn't come out here," He kissed the other corner of your mouth. "At this time of night if I was." He kissed you softly and quickly on the lips.
He pulled back and looked you right in the eyes. When you didn't do anything but lazily open them, he leaned in againand kissed you a bit harder. He pulled you close to him just as the breeze began to pick up.
