Via Flickr: As the rebel troops fled their secret base on Hoth there was no time for pre-flight checks, it was a very fast operation. There is one known incident where an astromech unit had problems with manoeuvering in thick snow and, under heavy crossfire from Imperial ground assault troops, it's designated Y-wing fighter took off without it onboard. It was the last ride off Hoth. R5-F7 was never recovered, it's whereabouts are unknown. Oh, how I have missed photographing these!
Welcome to The Blockhouse. by Lego Junkie. on Flickr.
Via Flickr: The waters rose, and the tides shifted. Everything that we knew and loved about the world before the collapse disappeared under the steadily rising green murk. As if green murky water and rapidly vanishing coastlines didn't suck enough, some cosmic god with a funny sense of humor threw zombies into the mix. So on top of a low food supply, and very little potable water, we got something that wanted to eat our brains as the Pièce de résistance. Welcome to The Blockhouse, enjoy your stay. As short as it may be... Entry number one for the MocAthalon. Category #18: The walking dead. If you're interested in seeing more pictures, they'll be uploaded on Mocpages later today (or whenever they get their image problem fixed).
I want to play with this sooo bad.

Via Flickr: The BTL-A4 Y-wing starfighter sported two R200 ion jet engines, classic to some, trouble to others. The fighter was fast enough for bombing runs but with engines prone to overheating, especially if near the end of their service. Landing the fighter to cool off the engines was just one of the ways to deal with the problem, finding a safe place to land was not always a given.

Via Flickr: "The American M3A1 Atlanta Main Battle Tank was introduced in 2031 and was first deployed only a year later during the annexation of Canada. In opposite to its older EU counterpart, the Leopard 3A1 and 3A2, the Atlanta has one 20mm auto cannon additional to the electrothermal-chemical 120mm main cannon, which is, yet again in opposite to the EU MBT, not capable of mortar fire. Core accomplishments of the designing progress were to achieve active defense systems and great firepower as well as heavy armor. That was indeed necessary in order to withstand strafe runs and bombings of tank killing aircraft such as the EU Dragonfire, of which a fully armed unit could easily unleash enough firepower to outmatch active defense systems." I had the plan to make a tan tank for half a year roughly, now I was finally able to actually do it. Personally, a tan tank sure is great when it is done, but don´t underrate the costs, literally. Getting the required pieces in tan was not only expensive, it also took some time. The diorama it is presented in was done due to the great popularity my earlier tank presentation diorama achieved. Special thanks to Julien for editing this one again and to Orion Pax for providing brown grass stalk pieces. Another Note relating the description, the Canada line is not related to the MOC itself, but to the story of a group it was made for. This whole thing is set in Mexico.
