Loki IRL oc concepts. Might take a while to get their final designs down bc I've gotta finish other ocs first, but i needed to get these out of my head
(The colours are getting me. I want them to contrast a lot - toony IRL vs flat artist - so I want the IRL to be more colorful, but I also want them to have a black body bc one of the artist's talents is inking...)

What are backgrounds? What is perspective??? Anyways- Nightmare vs. Loki! Nightmare is not as honorable as Loki. I've been wanting to draw this for years now.
I slapped some other peoples oc's roughly in the background as spectators, and included some cool ones i saw on tumblr too! I might do another loki oc sketchdump soon tbh.
I've drawn some of the OC's I've seen a couple of times in the (twitter)lokiirl tag (and a kaine redesign)! I hope I was accurate when translating art styles. I want to draw more loki irl oc's, so please suggest some if you'd like!

A spontaneous quick doodle! Watched a new pilot a few hours ago called Loki IRL and you need to watch it NOW 🫵 (jk only if you want to BUT PLEASE indie pilots need attention and love) and got inspired to make my own sona with her living cartoon companion!
Something-something about knights and dragons, they don't really get along usually - but these two will make it work! RRD or Rory for short can communicate just fine, but sometimes she gets moody (and possibly starts to burn everything in sight).

Here's my sona (and IRL) for @pan-pizza 's Loki IRL. Designation Cyber Celestial would generally be called "Cyber" for short. I doubt I'd be anywhere near the best sketch fighter, but with how fast I can finish a sketch, I'm confident I'd be at least halfway decent!
If you haven't given Loki IRL a watch yet, I highly recommend it. It just bleeds passion and love for the medium, which I find incredibly inspiring. There's also an in-episode guide for making your own Loki IRL OC, which I followed to the best of my ability. 💕

The time I publicly humiliated my kids for no reason, then forced them to apologise to me for the fact that it upset them; the way I’m telling this story makes it clear that I regard this as a positive experience which has deepened the bonds between us
The time I relentlessly badgered my kids into doing something they clearly didn’t care for until they pretended to enjoy it just to get me off their backs, which I will now cite as evidence that kids always falsely claim not to enjoy things they secretly love
The time I wildly misinterpreted something my kids told me and imposed a cartoonishly disproportionate punishment in response; I’m telling the story now because I later learned what was really going on, but have resolved never to admit it, and for some reason I think this is hilarious
The time I unaccountably refused to believe my kids about something they had no conceivable reason to lie about and which would have required very little effort on my part to verify, then acted like the vindication of their claim was just a wacky coincidence
The time I promised my kids something I never intended to follow through on, then put considerably more effort into punishing them for being disappointed at not getting it than it would have taken to just make good on my word in the first place; kids these days sure are entitled!

Yesterday I touched a box that felt “wrong” and I spent the rest of night trying to get that feeling off my hands.

Oh my god this is a thing??? I’ve been doing this shit all my life. I’d touch something wrong and try to touch correctly for hours afterword
The trying to get a feeling off of your hands thing happens to me ALL THE TIME
I don’t have a wrong texture, but i do have a few wrong sounds, for example when a fork scratches against a plate (nothing happens with other, similar sounds), my entire body will squirm and tense up completely involountarily when i hear that, it sucks
If i even hear or THINK about scratching chalk boards or something rough i spend the rest of the day scratching my nails across smooth surfaces just to assure myself that i’m no longer touching it.
OH man if I touch something, like accidentally brush against it with say my index finger and my middle finger, it is IMPERATIVE that I go back and touch it with my ring and pinky fingers too because otherwise the experiences of my fingertips will not be even.
If I accidentally rub my fingers against something rough-textured like brick, my spine will attempt to escape my body and I will be upset about it and rub my fingertips over smooth surfaces for another ten minutes or so until I can calm down.
If I realize I’ve stepped over sidewalk cracks with my right foot too many times I’ll do a shuffle skip-hop until I’m walking at such a pace that I’m stepping over sidewalk cracks with my left foot for awhile because it needs to be even or things feel weird.
Brains are bizarre places with strange rules sometimes.
