From my very first painting class, so 2010? I'm still not great at painting trees. Drawing, sure, easy. Painting? Yikes. 🌳

Details of the feather painting, part two – starting with the vivid blue edge. Yes, that's right, this (deceptively) monochromatic orange painting was painted on top of cobalt blue (purposefully). 💙

No name, circa 2010-11?, oil paint. Originally oriented with the cream stripe on top. Now living in New Mexico (and so am I, haha), which was its inspiration more or less, so that's nice.
I made a strange card for my mom for Mother's Day. Strange, but I like it. Nice colors, though, right? PS: I’m on Instagram as well - @briennabick
I got the @skullgarden coloring book and recorded myself coloring this page. The timelapse video will be up soon at @agaucu! I’m always starting and stopping with art. I s2g I will ease my way back into actually doing it.
Sacrificing this as a planter for my SO’s mom as well. Good use for a cracked bowl!
Apparently, it’s been so long since I’ve consistently drawn that my SO of three years had no idea I spend most of my drawing efforts making creepy things.
Sketching ideas for a “we’re moving!” card. :) Plants+puns.
I don’t like eating mushrooms, so I’m not too familiar with how they look. But a lot of them are cute, so I drew some 2D ones, and the SO (who’s playing The Witcher 3) wanted them to be emitting toxin. Going to work on getting better at them. Pretty cute, though.
Trying to start drawing again, at least a little. Succulents are fun to draw, lots of repetition and spacial relation practice. I messed up the curve of the top of the cup, so I stopped at this point.
I’m turning this jar into a planter, so I figured I’d better hurry up and take photos of it. There are pre-first firing photos a couple pages back. This is a million shots of the inside of the jar. I kept this jar and ended up using it as a jar for fish food, never trying to sell it because the lid is super wonky.

Another view of my (now cleaned up) workspace during painting class. Wowee, I am messy.
...shrowback Sunday to when I was in my last painting class.
Peony is done.
Poppy art. Left is practicing how to simplify, right is final version.
Ah, a snapchat drawing. Yes. Art.
