★ THE CREATION OF THE STARS
Our story begins in ancient times when we meet the Cosmos, often considered our eternal mother by mortals. The Cosmos encompasses the entire space, including all matter, energy, and time. It holds celestial bodies like Earth, the Moon, planets, moons, asteroids, and comets orbiting around the radiant Sun.
It is said that the Cosmos was once a dark void without stars, but everything changed when she birthed her first child by combining a fragment from the lunar realm. This act of creation ignited a revelation within her, and she began to create more celestial bodies and divine beings.
The birth of humanity is still debated, but the creation of stars is solely attributed to the mother herself. She forged the stars with nuclear fusion as a gift to her eldest son, Sacrosire. Nevia, the shooting star, was among them and was given the duty of illuminating the dark pathways of the galaxy, serving as a guide for divine beings.
Amid the cosmos, the netherworld was crafted as a safe haven for all the divine, a place where celestial beings sought solace and tranquility away from the universe's chaos. It was a keepsake for all the souls that the gods crafted for their entertainment. It became a sanctuary cherished by all, offering peace and serenity amidst the vast cosmic expanse.
The harmony was splintered by a war born of unchecked power and pride among the divine children of this celestial tapestry. Some sought refuge amidst the serene landscapes of the planets, seeking solace in their quiet embrace. Others, like Sacrosire, hungered for dominion over the realms they traversed.
During their celestial wanderings, Sacrosire and his faithful Starmaiden Nevia encountered something that stirred a longing within him: a rarity for beings of such divine stature. Much to his surprise, Nevia could fulfill his desires through an "imprecor" of her own making, akin to a “Wish.”
As Sacrosire's wishes unfolded, the harsh reality emerged: Nevia, unable to contain the magic coursing within her, began to wither under its weight, falling prey to illness. In the relentless pursuit of his mission, the god of time, blinded by his ambition, was poised to sacrifice Nevia upon the altar of cruelty, heedless of her suffering, all for the sake of his grand design. She spent the end of her life suffering and pleading for it to stop. Nevia would lose her light and fall towards the plummet of her end.
