Could it be possible to write headcanons of the OM characters with a reader that tends to ramble on without noticing? Bonus if the reader says smt like "Tell me if I'm talking too much" or something!

There aren't many people that ramble around Lucifer, his often serious expression makes it intimidating to continue the conversation without wondering what he's thinking. When you start rambling to him, he ensures that you don't feel that way at all, nodding or occasionally interjecting so you know his listening to you. His expression softened as you start to explain to him an online mystery very popular from your realm.
So when your words come to a halt, heading hanging low with embarrassment as you suddenly become aware of just how much you've been talking.
"Oh sorry I'm rambling a lot..." apology coming from your mouth. He wastes no time reassuring you.
"Please continue, I'm interested to find out your theories on what happened to this human." He likes listening to you speak and wants to continue hearing what you have to say. So please ramble as much as you like.
Mammon thinks it's funny how you can start off talking about one thing and then suddenly you're talking about something crazy you witnessed in the hallway. He might've feigned annoyance about your tendency in the beginning but now he's using your ability to his advantage to have you spending more time with him.
Originally you were talking about an idea you had for an essay for the Devildom History assignment, now you're going on a full on rant how you're pretty sure Solomon is teaching you to spell cast the complicated way because he finds you stuttering over spell incantations funny.
You pause with a sheepish expression. "Sorry I'm talking a lot." He shakes his head.
"If I had a problem I'd tell ya." Which is true, if he didn't want to listen he would say something. "Besides sounds like Solomon is being a jerk and doin' it on purpose." And he wouldn't grin to himself as you continue your rant, ensuring that you'll be with him for a little while longer.
Leviathan is a fellow rambler (1), ask him about any of his interests and you'll be sat listening for as long as he has air in his lungs. If the two of you manage to share an interest youāll both be locked into a seemingly eternal conversation loop. But given his own tendency to ramble (and his tendency to be embarrassed by it), he does try to ensure he listens to what youāre saying.
āAnd then I told her that she canāt just leave a trap hole in the middle of the hallway, but I donāt think she listened because there was an incidentā¦ā Levi is trying really hard to follow along with your story but heās also trying to win this raid that is taking a lot of conversation. āWhich speaking of incidents the other day there wasā¦ā the story keeps off shooting onto different tangents and the enemy boss is requiring more of his attention.
āSorry youāre trying to do something and Iām rambling.ā The second the words leave your mouth, his game is shut and his undivided attention is on you.
āNononono itās fine! Tell me more about what happened.ā
āAre you sure? What about your raid?ā
āI can do it later.ā And he will when you eventually finish your story.
Satan is fellow rambler (2) but he loves listening to you talk. Because itās not the inconsiderate kind of rambling of someone who wants to hear themselves talk, itās the words of a person who has many thoughts in their mind and talks to let them out. At least thatās how he sees it anyway. Heāll sit without much fuss and listen to you ramble about whatever you like, something that happened to you today, a new interest, a new show or an assignment idea heāll nod along with every word.
āYou can tell me Iām talking too muchā¦ā you tell him one time, after being uncharacteristically silent. He frowns.
āIāll never tell you that because I like hearing what you have to say.ā You perk up slightly.
āEven if itās all rambling?ā
āThatās my favourite.ā He smiles. āAfter all who will tell me about crazy human conspiracy theories?ā You laugh at that, using it as an opportunity to tell him about a new one you saw online.
Asmodeus isn't a rambler but he loves talking. He'll happily talk your ear off when given the chance, so it seems only fair he lets you do the same. Sometimes he might not be familiar with the topic but heāll ask questions to make sure heās following along. But there are times where he recognises you just need to be let ramble without interjection, so heāll take a moment to reapply his lipstick or check his hair in a small mirror.
He doesnāt intend for it to come off as disinterest when he does it.
āYou can tell me if Iām boring you.ā But when you become deflated, sentences stopping in their tracks. He understands why youād get that impression.
āBoring, you? Never in a million years! I just didnāt want to interrupt while you were getting to the juicy part.ā He puts his mirror away looking you straight in the eyes. āYou have my undivided attention tell me more.ā
Itās hard to tell if Beelzebub is even paying attention to what youāre saying, as while youāre telling him about the latest twist in your current favourite TV show, heās snacking away. The only affirmation you have is his nodding and occasionally grunting with a mouth full of food. Youāre about midway through explaining some of the backstory of the two main characters to explain why the twist that one of them was the villain all along is so crazy when you realise he hasnāt actually said anything for a while.
āSorry Beel, am I boring you?ā He almost chokes hearing the question, especially hearing the slight sadness in your tone.
He swallows his food quickly, rapidly shaking his head until his mouth was empty. āNo. I like listening to you talk. Tell me what happens next.ā You smile at his words, a gesture that makes his next bite of food taste even better than before, especially combined by your retelling of what happened next.
Belphegor isnāt falling asleep because what youāre saying is boring, itās because he finds the sound of your voice comforting. Yes, there have been occasions where heās dozed off while you were mid ramble. Does he feel bad? Yes. Does he vow to make up for it by making sure to listen to you next time? Also yes. But he does find it important to note that the times he has fallen asleep is when you were talking as he was preparing to nap.
āSorry are you trying to sleep?ā There arenāt many people heād let talk to him when heās trying to nap, but you are the exception, even if he knows a simple conversation can divulge to quite the story.
āItās fine. Tell me what the Chihuahua did.ā He keeps his eyes shut, but sleepily hums as you tell him about Luke beefing with some random demon in your class today. Even as sleep tries to take over he fights it off to at the very least make it to the end of your story.
Although youāre now starting to give him an entire backstory of how the grudge started over a month ago because of a passing comment in the hallway. Belphie will see this through. The thought of you being sad enough to drag him out of any tiredness.

A.N: This is my first time posting anything fanfic-like at ALL on the internet so I hope this is ok š„¹š«¶ I'm not that confident in my writing yet but I'm getting there
Belphegor sighed, his sleepiness catching up to him as he waited for a certain someone to finish writing his essay. Minutes felt like hours as tired eyes followed the pen the other held, a task that proved to be tedious, watching the ink form word after word with the same enthusiasm one would have watching paint dry.
āI'll be done soon.ā Nathan assured him, although he didn't make any effort to shift his gaze towards where the demon lazily lay on the couch.
āSoon feels like forever. C'mon, just leave itā¦ā he pouted before standing up from where he was five minutes away from a nap. Quiet footsteps resonated as he stalked towards Nathan, who made no effort to stop the demon from attempting to persuade him once more.
āCome onā¦ā He whined, resting his chin on Nathan's shoulder. āLet's take a napā¦ā
His raspy voice would've won over some people, but Nathan Miller was not one of them, quickly brushing Belphegor off by reminding him: āI gotta finish this essay.ā though, he soon repeated a previous statement, adding: āI'm nearly done.ā
What Nathan didn't expect, however, was Belphegor nuzzling against his neck and looking up at him with his signature puppy-dog eyes.
āC'mon, you've done enoughā¦ you need to rest.ā
Belphegor could feel the way the other's breath caught in his throat, pausing his writing to focus on resisting the tempting offer to succumb to the sweet embrace of the dream world. Soft, warmā¦āno! No. He had to finish the essay.
The avatar of Sloth had a lazy smirk pressed against where he was nuzzling, expecting the hardworking man that was Nathan Miller to finally go through with his plan for once.
However, to his disappointment (with a hint of amusement), Nathan continued his essay. Although, this was not without his face developing that adorable reddish hue that went up to his ears. ā„ļø
Finally, thereās Simeon! I think, from my OCs, heād match well with Bunny. Bunny is quiet and doesnāt talk to people often. In fact, whenever she does so, itās in singular words or short sentences. āOk.ā āSure.ā āNo.ā āItās fine.ā And while some people may consider her way too blunt with her answers to get along with, I believe Simeon would look past that.
Bunny has an obsession with : well, bunnies! In fact, Bunny is just her nickname, as her real name is Kit.
Still, wearing a full bunny themed outfit makes some people look at her strangely. Still, Bunny is very sure of herself, and doesnāt let any comments or whispers get to her.
As we know, Simeon treats everyone around him equally, whether it be a demon, angel or even Lord Diavolo himself! I think this would be a reason for Bunny to approach him in the first place. With time, sheād probably open up more and more. Her short sentences can turn into actual conversations, her quiet self would start humming tunes of her favorite songs, etcā¦
She just needed to find someone who understood.
Simeon, on his part, I believe would be very kind with her, as he tends to be with people. Even during the friendship stage, I believe Bunny would occasionally look over his shoulder if she spotted him writing. Sheād probably stick around him or occasionally, surprisingly Belphie! (They probably get along because of the mutual enjoyment of naps.)
Though, sheās mainly seen with Simeon.
They both donāt express their feelings with words as much as they do with actions. Soft forehead kisses, portraits drawn of the other, Bunny letting him borrow her bunny hat (maximum expression of love mind you), just general cute stuff. Bunny would surprisingly be the one to organize dates and such. Of course, mostly calm ones. Picnics, hanging out and watching a movie while huddled up in a blanket, etc. Overall, very cute!
I feel like Solomon would be a fun match with Dash. Like fun in the sense that to any outsider it would feel incredibly one sided but they both love each other very much. Dash is just incredibly petty and salty about anything heās mildly inconvenienced by. ENTER SOLOMON! A shady sorcerer that makes Dashās alarm bells ring right away! So, this loser makes it his goal to find out what is up with the sorcerer!
As the story progresses, Solomon develops an interest in Dash due to the strange nature of the magic he possesses, to which Dash does not know how to react. He kinda doesnāt process anything that could be considered as flirting without turning beet red.
Solomon would be the smug bastard he is about it and tease Dash about the interest heās found in him.
As they grow closer, Dash and Solomon would probably work together in class projects, or wellāSolomon would mainly guide him because Dash does NOT know what heās doing. Like at all.
Dash would also attempt to tolerate Solomonās cooking, food poisoning aside.
And well, no matter how many times that loser says āI hate youā, there comes a point where no one will believe him anymore. Because really, who would believe that guy with the way he always sticks to the sorcerer like glue?
Barbatos and Olivia would be adorable. Both work hard and are dependable, but of course, being a cashier, Olivia does not get paid enough nor is she treated well enough for this amount of work to be healthy. So, I believe Barbatos would insist she takes a break and let him serve her for once. We know Barbatos doesnāt like standing around and doing nothing, so I think heād be okay with her resting while he does work around the castle.
Olivia doesnāt like him being the only one to work, though, so sheād probably attempt to make things easier for him. She could give him short massages, take care of any rats that sneak in or get ingredients for him whenever he cooks. Simple stuff, really.
Talking about cooking, I think small cooking lessons together would be so cute! Olivia trying to get the ingredients and learning about Devildom cuisine and Barbatos teaching her with a patient smile. I hold them in my hands. They are so dear to me.
Heād give her hand kisses and prepare her tea whenever he notices sheās especially stressed. Sheās not used to so much affection, but welcomes it.
Overall I just think theyād be a cute couple that would help each other š„¹
Celia and Diavolo would be a power couple. I said what I said. Celia would treat him as an equal, I believe, and Diavolo would respect that. After all, being a prince makes it so most people donāt dare to do so.
She is stubborn, but so is he, so at the very least sheās not alone with that! She struggles to show kindness, as she isnāt used to someone so straightforward, but would slowly warm up to Diavolo. His enthusiasm about different realms would catch her off guard, but sheād be surprisingly patient in answering questions about the human world.
Sheās probably gonna be treated like royalty, but she doesnāt mind it. In fact, sheād probably go out of her way to wear literally every piece of jewelry gifted to her every once in a while. Though, this would soon have to turn into all the jewelry from the past month, otherwise sheād likely topple over.
Quite literally the āHe asked for no picklesā meme. Like word for word.
Sure, Diavolo is the future ruler of Hell, but heād probably like seeing someone defend him so fiercely either way. Plus, he wants to let her have her moment.
Despite her usually ārudeā attitude, a softer side comes out when it comes to Diavolo. She canāt explain why, but that beaming personality of his just makes her feel like she can be vulnerable around him.
Theyād be a cute couple! Plus, her signature red lipstick matches his RAD uniform.

Belphie and Nathan would be really cute. Nathan is a patient guy who wouldnāt always give in to Belphieās nap requests offers, but would indulge him every once in a while. Nathanās a quiet person that doesnāt express many emotions, but I believe Belphegor would take it as a challenge to get reactions out of him. (Which is why he found out Nathan is surprisingly easy to fluster once he actually understands someoneās flirting with him.)
Nathan is pretty strong, so heād probably carry Belphie around if the latter fell asleep somewhere not ideal. Not sleeping on the ground on his watch! Belphie would probably also remind Nathan to take breaks, even if itās mostly just so he has a pillow to nap on.
Nathan doesnāt have an easy time sleeping, but I feel Belphegorās presence would help with that a lot. A calm night, falling asleep in each otherās arms.
He would likely also get along really well with Beel, which is always a plus.
He would probably buy Belphegor many different types of pillows and blankets, although none compare to Nathan himself, in Belphieās eyes.
