@thehappysatan @alenkospanko​ (I apologize, the site won’t let me @ the other two for some reason), as Paws said, it’s probably best to not get involved if you aren’t already aware of this situation, it’s very messy. Just to correct our lovely colleague here though:

Everything la-muerta has said above is completely false and is based on leaps in logic and blatant lies, aside from the fact that Zhang Zhehan did very much fall victim to a smear campaign that he is currently fighting legally. Gong Jun has nothing to do with it, it was orchestrated by an industry organization called CAPA. “Whaler” is a term we use to describe people who either have fallen for or knowingly support a scam that is taking advantage of Zhang Zhehan being unable to say that he’s not involved in it. 

All of the information I’ve gathered about the situation can be found [here], the most important collection is [this one] breaking down and providing evidence about the first few months of the scam; I’ve been told it’s helped a lot of people understand what’s going on, so hopefully it will be useful to you as well if you do choose to read up on this.

la-muerta, you’ve been using the same tired arguments against me since April, give it a rest.

I hate to bring the activism over here. But like Ennis said, if you dont know what whalers is, better stay far far away.

U guys know that i’ve been in fandom for many decades but never seen such toxic and hatefull community like these trash. Better block and move on or never interact with them at all.

This is so low ya. I’m so damn tolerant and dont mind reposting/redo my/coloring my art in other media as long as you ask permission and credit me. But saying the works is completely your + blocking us is a pathetic act. Not cool man!!

A long time ago an anon asked my thoughts about drawing backgrounds, so I finally got around to putting this together. It’s more prop-centric, but it still represents my philosophy to backgrounds. 

I’ll try to do something more about drawing actual background spaces in the future! Please let me know what you think, if anything is unclear, or if you have suggestions for other tutorials you might find helpful!
