cardguns:
Thank god for Christmas, he had finally met someone who hadnât been spoiled about Santaâs true existence! Or er, lack of, but either way, it was sort of a gift to meet a person who didnât find his dumb little tricks pointless due to exposure.
He imagined that he might have been accused of psychokinesis by someone who was used to that sort of thing, and although he could have enjoyed messing with the allegation in the long run, it was cute to see someone genuinely tickled pink by his silly little tricks.Â
âNah. It was just a magic trick, but I donât mind if you want to believe that itâs real magic.â Kaito mused, delighted even though it had been one of the oldest bar frauds in the book. How it was done was simple: rubbing at the straw through the packaging discharged it, kind of like transferring over the static from a human, and all the unseen electricity allowed it to spark between his fingers. Physics, how he could kiss it. âI had already set it up before you walked over, to be honest, but a magician never reveals his hand, even after heâs won.â
âHeehh..â He was a little disappointed that it wasnât real, but of course, he mostly expected that answer anyway. His thought process continued to spin as he considering how it could have happened then, though considering he never went to class he didnât quite have the knowledge to solve it. His face settled into a pout as his elbows leaned themselves on the table with his cheeks in his palms. âNo fair. Dâyou know how frustrating it is to be the one who doesnât know? You could drive people crazy that way.â
Reaching to the other side of the table, the straw wrapper was squished with a finger and dragged back towards him to fiddle with. âOkay, maybe not after youâve won, but... what about before? Teach me a trick. Iâve got someone I gotta impress.â
âDo it and Iâll pay for your meal.â Money was of no value to him. That soda looked a little lonely, anyway.
